My name is Mahalia Jain and I thank you for being here with me.
This moment is a moment for you to feel into whatever energy or emotions brought you here today.
Give yourself compassion.
It's in these moments and in these times of resistance that we find the key to coming back to our sacred space of internal peace.
So take this moment to honour what you've come here today with.
And without resistance,
Just observe it.
Feel it.
Lean into it.
Sitting or laying in the space that you have created today.
Become aware and notice the vibration,
The energy and the pulse throughout your body.
And take a soothing,
Big deep breath into your diaphragm,
Into your stomach.
Filling up all the space within.
And then let it go on the exhale.
Let your shoulders drop and sink deeper.
That vibration trickling down your neck.
Loosening the grip that you hold in your head.
Feel your spine start to loosen.
Letting go of any pain,
Tension,
Pressure and worry.
Becoming more aware of the senses in your body.
Notice the sensation in your legs.
The senses in your hands,
Your arms,
In your neck.
Again,
Give yourself permission just to release.
To let go.
And drop deeper without resistance.
Let go of the grip.
You are safe here.
You are protected here.
What guided you here today is the intention to completely allow yourself to feel the state and the emotions that you are carrying.
It is to give yourself permission to surrender.
To see it.
To view it.
Without judgement.
Without self-criticism.
So as you give yourself permission again to land in this space that you are in,
Right this moment,
I want you to set an intention of how you want to feel.
What emotion do you want to surge within yourself and your soul?
Be in the grace and the gratitude of the emotion.
Removing any worry or thought that pulls you in the direction of unworthiness.
Come back to that feeling,
To that intention,
A spark of essence that lives and breathes within you.
Giving yourself that kind reminder that your unique essence is so worthy to feel these emotions you desire to feel.
And the pain,
Grief,
The old stories,
Those feelings that simmer below the surface that block you from this place of love.
Send it love.
Send it thanks.
Send it kindness.
It's okay now to release it.
Trusting this is your greatest strength.
Your teacher.
Your friend.
It showed up to serve you,
To give you the power you need to choose again,
To be in that emotional state you have decided to be in.
If you feel called,
Place your hand on your heart,
Your hand on your stomach,
Or on a place in your body that needs this love.
And with a gentle smile,
Allow these affirming words to gracefully settle into your being,
Uplifting and guiding you.
I am giving myself complete permission to forgive my past and to release this pain.
Hurt,
Anger and resentment no longer have a place in what I choose to feel.
I am in love with my unique essence.
I choose to feel joy.
Joy in the everyday moments.
Joy in the now.
Joy that maybe I've missed.
Maybe I've missed in the everyday normalities that at any time,
A joy that can be my loving comfort.
I now choose my emotion.
I now choose myself.
I am love.
Start to feel a rhythm in your body,
A slow dance that awakens every muscle and every fibre of your being.
An energy that cultivates a feeling of being present here in the now.
Opening your mind and your eyes,
Letting the light in,
Feeling the warmth and giving yourself a big warm hug of thanks for being here in this practice today.
Love yourself deeply.
Every essence of your unique being.
You can come back to the emotion,
To feel good intentions that you set today.
Trusting this pain is here to be your teacher,
To be your lover,
To be your friend.
I am sending you so much love on your journey,
Inspiration wherever you may go and a courage that I know you have to choose again.
