Minor Arcana Numerology & Suits
In this lesson, you will learn about the 4 suits in a Tarot deck, including Swords, Wands, Pentacles, and Cups. The numerology of Ace through 10 is also discussed. A formula is shared to help commit these cards to memory, which is combining the numerology of the card with the meaning of the suit. For example, all twos in the deck represent decision-making and balance. Swords represent your mental landscape, Wands are creative energy, Pentacles are your time, money, and energy and Cups represent your emotional landscape. When you combine the numerology with the suit meaning, you can quickly identify the meaning of a card. For example, the 2 of wands would be about decision-making and finding balance in the area of your creative pursuits, and the 2 of pentacles would indicate decision-making and finding balance in how you spend your time, money, and energy. If you have a Tarot deck with you, it would be helpful to arrange the Minor Arcana by card number so that you can see all four cards from each suit of the same number at once.
