Patanjali says:
kleśakarmavipākāśayairaparāmṛṣṭaḥ puruṣaviśeṣa īśvaraḥ
God (Isvara)is a supreme being free from all causes of suffering -- from actions, their consequences, and all latency.
tasya vācakaḥ praṇavaḥ
The sacred word designating him is praṇava or the mystic syllable OM
In this lecture, we will delve into and explore what he means by this.

Brahman, Vac & Akshara
AUM is considered to be the underlying creative vibration of the universe, the sound that was left over from the Big Bang. In this lecture, I will explore its role as the Akshara, and whether Om was always considered to be the word with which the divine consciousness created the universe, or if there was ever another one in its stead.

This is a very strong meditation that on itself can be life changing, but that will also serve us as a backbone to an even deeper and more secret meditation. Antar Japa Of AUM
In this guided meditation, I will teach you how to perform the Antar Japa of AUM, the internal cycling of the AUM mantra within your consciousness. This is perhaps the most classical of the meditations on AUM, where we use more of the OM variance in pronunciation.

Trataka is a yogic concentration practice that involves steady gazing. In this class, you will practice focusing your eyes and mind on the symbol of OM, using visual attention to quiet the mind, deepen concentration, and strengthen your meditation.

In this class, I will teach you how to use the symbol of OM (ॐ) as a visual focus in meditation, guiding your attention toward stillness and helping deepen concentration through a simple and powerful contemplative practice.

The Mandukya Upanishad On AUM
In this class, we will explore the origins of the teaching that AUM has three parts and examine their deeper connection to human consciousness. To understand this idea, we will look at a key text from the Indian tradition that explains the symbolic meaning of A-U-M.

The Ucchara Of AUM
In this class, I will teach you the secret Ucchāra meditation on AUM, a practice from the Kashmir Shaivism tradition. We will explore how this method appears in the Svacchanda Tantra and in Abhinavagupta’s Tantrāloka, and how it uses the vibration of AUM to expand awareness.

Yoga Nidra of AUM
In this final meditation of the course, we will use the sound of AUM to guide the mind into the deeper states of Yoga Nidra, integrating the teachings and practices we have explored throughout the course into a calm and immersive meditative experience.

In this final session, we briefly review the key practices explored in the course—chanting AUM, meditation techniques, and supportive methods for concentration. You’ll reflect on what you learned and consider how to integrate these practices into your daily life.
