This grounding activation helps you get out of your head and in touch with your body. It stills a busy mind, helps you become more aware of your physical body and get fully present in this moment. When you’re grounded, it’s easier to focus and concentrate. Great for a quick break or to start your day from a centered place. It also helps you begin your night with a quiet mind—enabling deeper and less interrupted sleep.

This grounding activation helps you get out of your head and more in touch with your body so that you can sense whether you're tired,

Stressed,

Or perhaps holding on to tension.

I'd like you to start by placing both your feet firmly on the floor,

Straightening your spine,

And if you want you can place a hand on your lower belly to deepen your breathing.

And then with every exhale send your energy,

Your awareness to your feet,

To the earth beneath you,

Breathing in your own pace,

And then focus on your head and allow any excess energy in your head to slowly trickle down.

Let it spread itself evenly throughout your physical body,

Trusting the energy knows where to go.

Then check your energetic cord at the bottom of your spine.

There's an energetic cord there,

Even if you're not aware,

And in your mind's eye I'd like you to grab that cord and tuck it in firmly to the center of the earth as an extra anchor,

Extra support for you to stay rooted.

And then focus your awareness back on your feet,

Feel the soles of your feet resting on the floor,

And then imagine that roots are growing from the soles of your feet into the earth,

Just as if you were a tree.

Knowing,

Sensing,

Imagining these roots grow downwards,

Sideways,

Simply allowing the roots to find their way deeper,

Wider,

Creating a vast network of roots,

And acting as a counterweight to anything that's present above the surface,

Keeping you balanced.

Perhaps you feel that your feet are getting a little heavier,

Your legs,

And we're setting the intention that you're going to continue to ground,

To deepen this grounding,

Even when you're no longer focusing on your feet with your awareness,

Even when you're doing other things.

Then relax your shoulders,

And in a moment I'd like us to take a few deep breaths in together,

So that we align in the energy,

And you're allowing yourself to become fully present here,

In this moment.

Take a deep breath in,

And let it out.

Breathe in,

And release.

Final deep breath in together,

And let it out.

Send the intention that you're going to continue to stay grounded,

Present,

And balanced throughout the rest of your day,

Your evening,

Or your night.

And until we meet again.
