A warm welcome to this deep grounding activation.

I'm Iris van Ooyen,

And I'll guide you through this grounding practice,

Allowing you to take a step away from the busyness of life,

Giving yourself a moment to get fully present,

To become more aware of your physical body,

Enabling you to be better able to focus and concentrate.

I'd like us to start with placing both your feet on the floor,

If you haven't already done so,

Feeling the weight of your feet resting on the floor,

And take a moment to sense how you're sitting here,

Or perhaps are standing.

If you want,

You can place a hand on your lower belly to invite your breathing to deepen.

And then with every exhale,

Send your energy,

Your awareness to your feet,

To the earth beneath you,

Simply by setting the intention to do so.

Keep breathing in your own pace,

Giving yourself permission to settle,

To slow down,

Giving yourself the gift of this time for yourself.

And then focus on your head and allow any excess energy in your head to slowly trickle down.

Let that energy spread itself evenly throughout the rest of your physical body,

Trusting that the energy knows where to go.

And then with every exhale,

Let your body begin to feel the energy and let it begin to feel the energy,

Trusting that the energy knows where to go.

And then focus at the bottom of your spine.

There's an energetic cord there,

Even if you're not aware.

And in your mind's eye,

Grab that cord to the center of the earth.

So it can keep you anchored,

Rooted.

Don't overthink it,

Just allow yourself to do that.

And then focus your awareness back on your feet.

Feel how they've become perhaps a little bit heavier.

And then imagine that from the soles of your feet,

Roots are growing downwards,

Just as if you were a tree,

Allowing these roots to grow downwards,

Sideways,

Creating a vast network of roots.

And that's acting as a counterweight to anything that's present above the surface.

And allow these roots to expand wider,

Deeper,

Allowing them to find their own way.

And we're setting the intention that these roots keep expanding,

Keep anchoring you,

Even when you're no longer focused on them.

And relax your shoulders.

And in a moment,

I'd like us to take three deep breaths in together to fully align ourselves in the energy to become more fully present.

In this moment,

Take a deep breath in and let it out.

Breathe in and release.

Final deep breath in together.

Final deep breath in together.

And let it out.

I'm setting the intention that only that energy,

That information can come through that is in your highest good,

That will help you become even more anchored,

More present,

Allows you to release what no longer serves you and open up to that which is in your highest good to receive right now.

And I'd like you to take a moment and picture a tree,

A beautiful,

Huge tree.

Perhaps it's a tree that you've seen in real life or on a picture or simply something that you're sensing right now.

And I'd like you to imagine that you're either sitting or standing against this tree,

Feeling your spine straight against the trunk of the tree,

Perhaps you're sensing a bit of the unevenness of the bark,

Allowing yourself to take in the surroundings,

The earthly smells,

Perhaps the coolness of this place or the warmth if you're sitting in the sun,

Or the light of the sun,

Or the warmth if you're sitting in the sun,

And focus your awareness on this tree,

Allowing it to support you,

Anchor you,

Allowing yourself to soak up the strength that this tree provides,

And the wisdom that it has accumulated over the years,

Available for you to tap into if you so choose.

But most importantly,

Allow yourself to be present.

Feel how your body gets heavier,

How you're becoming more aware,

And take in the strength,

The energy of this tree.

Feel how it's here,

Ready to support you.

And then,

Feel how your body gets heavier,

Feel how it's here,

Ready to support you,

To remind you of nature,

Of staying balanced,

Grounded,

And feel the stillness,

Feel the calmness come over you as you're immersing yourself in nature,

As you're feeling supported.

And enjoy that,

Enjoy the energy,

The support,

Being fully relaxed,

The support,

Being fully present,

Fully aware.

And then in a moment,

I'd like us to take one deep breath in,

Allowing you to soak up from this tree,

This environment,

Anything you'd like to bring back with you.

Deep breath in,

And release,

Ingraining into your system,

All that you're choosing to embrace.

And bring your awareness back on your feet,

Bringing your awareness,

Your energy back here into this moment,

Into this call.

Wiggle your toes,

Your fingers,

You can rotate your shoulders,

And whenever you're ready,

You can open up your eyes.
