This is a quick exercise to allow yourself to become more centered and more grounded.
So if your mind's running a mile a minute,
This is a great way to slow down and get centered.
If you want you can close your eyes and then feel the weight of your feet on the floor.
Breathing in your own pace.
And if you want you can place a hand on your lower belly to deepen your breathing.
And then with every exhale,
Send your awareness,
Your attention to your feet,
To the earth beneath you.
And feel how with every exhale you become more aware of your physical body,
Of how you're sitting here.
And then let any excess energy from your head slowly trickle down and spread itself evenly throughout your physical body.
Then refocus your attention on your feet and imagine roots are growing downwards just as if you were a tree.
Allowing these roots to grow sideways,
Creating a fast network that's serving as a counterweight for everything that's present above the surface.
Helping you feel more balanced,
More grounded.
Feel your feet getting even heavier,
Perhaps your legs as well.
And feel how the pressure in your head is getting less and less.
How you're feeling clearer,
How you're feeling clearer,
Physically heavier.
Relax your shoulders.
And we're going to take one deep breath in together to release any tension that is present in your physical body.
Take a deep breath in and let it all out.
And feel how you're feeling a little bit lighter and more present,
More present and more focused,
Ready to go about the rest of your day.
Have a magical day and until we meet again.
