This meditation is an affirmation meditation intended to help you tap into your inner strength and courage.
Affirmations are wonderful tools to help focus the mind.
They allow us to repeat empowering thoughts,
Shifting our inner dialogues towards confidence and possibilities.
Repeating affirmations helps us reinforce new beliefs about ourself and the world around us.
They can positively influence our mood,
Shift our mindset,
And set us up to take action.
So this meditation,
Allow yourself to sit,
Grow roots through the bottom half of your body,
Feeling supported and stable.
And lift your heart up to the sky,
Have a long spine,
Crown of the head reaches up,
Lower half of the body is stable,
Supported,
Rooted.
Upper half of the body is expansive,
Open,
Lifting.
Find comfort through your body,
Coming into stillness.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Loud exhale out of your mouth.
Inhale nose,
Exhale loudly out of the mouth.
We'll go through five affirmations together.
As I say them,
You can repeat them in your mind or out loud.
We'll go through two times.
Each time,
Let the words come into your body.
Let them fill up your mind.
Let them create energy.
Take a nice deep breath,
Feel the body both grounded and expansive.
