Hello!
The next meditation is going to be all about self-love.
Oftentimes we get busy in the world and we are thinking about other things,
Other people,
Other energies that we have to give out and we forget to take in,
To love ourselves.
So the next few moments I just want you to really think about how much self-love and self-care and self-compassion you can give yourself.
Get very comfortable.
This is a nice one to do sitting or laying down.
And the only thing that I ask besides being comfortable is you place both hands on your heart.
And when you're ready,
Close your eyes and just notice your heart beating under your hands.
Notice how it feels to hold your heart,
Your center of love,
Of compassion,
Of forgiveness.
Notice how it feels to hold that in your hands.
And just be in this moment and take a few gentle breaths,
Feeling your heart under your hand and feeling a sense of love radiate through your whole body.
And allow yourself this time,
This gift to slow down and to truly love yourself.
And feeling the connection of the hands on the heart,
Start to think about what it means to love yourself.
And we're going to go through just a few short affirmations to bring this sense of self-love a little deeper.
So starting with,
I trust myself.
Repeating the affirmation either in your head or even saying it out loud,
Pressing those hands onto your heart,
Taking deep breaths.
I trust myself.
I forgive myself.
I care for myself.
I care for myself.
I care for myself.
Notice what your body is telling you.
Either staying with your breath,
Staying present,
Or coming back to one or all of those affirmations.
I trust myself.
I forgive myself.
I care for myself.
Just being in this moment,
Being in your beautiful,
Radiant presence,
Knowing how brilliant and loving you are and bringing that all inside.
And coming to our last affirmation,
Just take a really big breath.
Allow yourself to resettle.
I love myself.
I love myself.
I love myself.
I love myself.
Feel your heart beating under your hands,
Connecting with your greatness,
Your brilliance,
Holding yourself in the highest regards,
Remembering how truly special you are.
And as you're ready,
You can take a deep breath in through your nose and then exhale out of your mouth.
The hands can softly come into the lap and the eyes will open as you're ready.
And just remembering how beautiful,
Brilliant you truly are.
Remembering to love yourself.
