Today we're going to be doing a practice of just noticing.

Life can be a meditation instead of having these spaces where we come to to meditate and having the separation from when we're meditating and when we're living life.

It's possible to step into a space of life where we just practice noticing.

And the basis for this noticing is very simple.

All we do is notice when we're moving toward or into a higher state of consciousness.

And we also notice when we're moving away from or into lower levels of consciousness or unconsciousness.

And life makes it really easy for us to be able to notice this because we tend to either feel good when we're moving toward higher consciousness or in higher consciousness.

And we tend to feel turbulent or disturbed or frustrated,

Annoyed,

Stressed.

We may experience anxiety,

Possibly depression.

And all of these unwanted experiences of life are calling us to notice.

To notice are we moving away and into the lower energies or are we moving up into the higher energies?

So let's begin to just settle in by taking three deep breaths.

And as you do this,

Feel all of your energy,

All these tendrils of attention that are scattered around your life.

Start to reel in just like a fishing line coming back to your center.

So go ahead and breathe in very deeply at your own pace.

And exhale,

Relaxing your body.

And breathe in.

And release.

And releasing anything that no longer serves you.

And breathe in one more time.

And release with a sigh.

Allowing your breath to return to normal and allowing your eyes to close when you're ready.

Feel your energy just settling in,

Calmly relaxing back down.

Stealing like the snow in a snow globe.

Notice how your personal intelligence knows how to calm and settle and come back down into a state of calm,

Steady,

And grounded inner peace.

Just breathe for a moment.

Feeling into your body,

Into your neck,

Into your chest.

Feeling into your arms and your hands.

Notice any sensation there.

And feeling into your pelvis,

Your legs,

And your feet.

Taking one more deep breath bigger than any breath you've taken so far today.

And release.

Feeling embodied,

Feeling calm,

And feeling present.

Now we're going to begin the practice of noticing.

As we begin this practice,

It's important to plant yourself deep into your spirit of higher consciousness.

In this higher consciousness perspective,

Only the truth and the unstoried reality of your existence are present.

Connect with this higher self now and feel into this Buddha or God-like nature.

Feel the kindness.

Feel the forgiveness.

Notice the grace of this energy as it flows through you.

Now when you're ready,

Notice some place in your life where you're feeling resistance.

Bring up this experience,

This person,

Or possibly this commitment that you've made.

Notice the thing where you have the most resistance at this current point in life right now.

Allow yourself to feel into this resistance from this higher consciousness perspective.

Be with the resistance.

See what it is that you're resisting most.

Now,

Imagine that this situation is occurring in the life of one of your friends.

Imagine that they now come to you as your higher consciousness self.

They ask you,

Please give me some guidance on this situation.

I feel all this resistance to this thing in my life and I'm wondering what it is that I should do about it.

Notice this question now and listen to what your higher self has to say.

What is the truth of this situation?

What lessons are intended to be learned from it?

And how is the situation serving you right now or possibly in the future?

Notice any wisdom coming through this higher consciousness self and receive it with grace.

Now,

Share what gratitude you have for all the knowings,

All the lessons that your higher consciousness self has shared with you today.

Express your gratitude.

And now as we come out of this meditation,

We'll take three deep breaths,

Feeling into our bodies,

Feeling into the room and coming back.

Go ahead and breathe in and release and breathe in and release.

And last,

Breathe in,

Breathe in wisdom,

Breathe in truth,

Breathe in knowing and release any stories,

Resistance,

Anything else not serving you.

Allow your breathing to return back to normal.

Prepare to wiggle your toes and your fingers going back into your body.

And when you're ready,

Go ahead and gently open the eyes,

Staying still and just scanning around the room with your gaze.

Realizing the beauty,

The stillness and the presence all around you.

Now it may be beneficial if you have a notebook or pen and paper nearby to take a moment to just write.

Allow your pen to hit the page and just write a stream of consciousness and just write,

Write,

Write until you notice that it's time to stop and just see what other wisdom may come flooding out of you.

Because now you're deeply connected to this higher self consciousness that lives within you and has always been there and is always available for you to connect with.

And as you continue on throughout your day,

Just notice,

Step into making life one big meditation where you sit in the seat of your awareness,

The seat of your higher consciousness self and you just notice and witness everything that's going on around you.

Noticing when you're moving into energies of love and peace,

Joy,

And also noticing when you're moving into lower energies.

And what you'll find is that just by noticing,

You'll move up the levels of consciousness and can find tremendous peace even when the external experience of life isn't what we think it should be.

And may you have a deep perspective of Buddha-like nature as you carry yourself throughout the rest of your day.
