Hello,
And welcome.
I first recorded this meditation for the Enlightened World Network,
And I begin with a poem by Davrik Leggett called Here and Now.
Don't wait that long,
In every moment there is a door with a sign saying now,
Waiting to be opened.
Don't hesitate,
Don't even knock,
Even when we turn away,
We will arrive again at the same place.
Every step we take is a door.
The life we refuse is singing to us from the other side.
Step through.
The old life,
With its comforting certainties,
Is not a home for the soul.
Break the furniture,
Run at the door,
And leap into the place they call here.
So let's find this place,
Let's have an experience ourselves of leaping into here through this meditation.
So I'm going to invite you to just close your eyes now,
And begin by noticing what's present.
Begin by noticing your own body,
Notice sensations on your skin.
You might even start at your feet,
And just gently scan up,
Low feet,
Low knees,
Low hips,
Low stomach working so hard,
Organs,
Kidneys,
The pancreas,
Spleen,
The low heart.
While you're here,
Drop into your heart and bring a sense of kindness and compassion to yourself.
For all that it means to be a divine being in a physical body.
All the discomfort and the pain sometimes.
Just let yourself bask in this kindness and compassion for your own being,
For your own body.
Send some out to the rest of the world,
Sending out your heart of compassion,
That each of us feel happy,
Safe,
Loved.
Your throat,
Low throat,
Center of expressiveness,
Creativity,
Your voice in the world.
What is it that you long to say today?
What would it mean to speak your truth in every single moment?
Drop into your head,
Filling into the pineal gland,
Center that opens into multidimensional space.
This portal of your consciousness.
Feeling the top of your head,
Allowing and imagining light pouring down from above.
Aluminating your crown and your body.
Illuminating your body from within.
Every cell lit up from the inside.
And then start to feel out into the room.
Feeling the space in the room that you're in.
Feel it not as empty space.
It is alive,
Awake space.
Are you aware of space?
Are you aware of from within the space?
Awareness within.
There's no outside or inside.
Just space.
Feel this space inside your body.
Notice if you feel a boundary between this space in your body and outside your body.
Or maybe it feels like just space.
No inside,
No outside.
Can you feel for yourself this fundamental recognition or knowing?
It's all space.
Limitless,
Boundless awareness.
There's no inside,
There's no outside.
This recognition that this separate being or body walking around in a separate universe is not actually the truth of who you are.
In this moment,
You know for yourself this fundamental understanding or recognition.
You see for yourself that everything is happening in the space we call here and in the time we call now.
One interconnected field of awareness.
Everything arising.
Sound of my voice.
Thoughts,
Sensations.
It's all just a play of God,
Of the divine.
Flowing through you.
So you can rest.
Allow yourself to sink back into your own knowing.
Into the essential truth of your own perfection.
That there's nothing more you need to know to improve on what's here.
You don't need to read another book or know anything else.
That this mistake in thinking that we need to know something to be better is fundamentally just an illusion.
Right here.
Right now.
You are enough.
Let the knowing of your own enoughness seep first into your heart.
See that it lights up your heart with warmth and joy and love.
And then feel that love spread through your whole body.
Illuminating,
Permeating every cell with this great remembering.
Let it out the echoes entering their eyes.
Am I correct?
This is truly the greatest gift you can give yourself.
Every person you meet.
Your remembering is like a light will spread through the world like stars twinkling the universe turning on this great remembering who and what you really are.
When you're ready,
Very gently open your eyes.
Keep your soft your gaze soft centered in your heart.
Just think to yourself for a moment,
What it would be like to hold this remembering every step you take every person you meet and how that would change you and how that would change the world.
Thank you all so much for being here in this meditation journey.
