Welcome.

This is a very simple,

Yet profound,

Heart-focused,

Coherence breathing technique developed by HeartMath.

The heart is really like your first brain because there are 60 times more signals that go from your heart to your brain than your brain to your heart.

And it contains thousands of neurons that regulate your whole body.

So if we can bring the heart into coherence,

We can bring the whole body into coherence.

So let's begin.

I invite you,

If it feels good,

To close your eyes and place your attention on your heart space.

So just bring a gentle focus into your heart and feel the heart from within.

And then you might,

If it feels good to you,

Gently place your hand over your heart and begin to breathe in and out of your heart space.

And do this breath a little slower and deeper than normal.

So this might be about four or five counts on the in breath and about four or five counts on the out breath.

And so feel the breath coming in and out of the heart.

Once you feel centered in your heart,

You might put your hand down in your lap or you may keep it on your heart if that feels good to you.

So again,

You're just simply breathing a little slower and deeper than normal in and out through your heart space.

You have a gentle attention placed on your heart.

So like the eyes of your awareness are focused on the heart.

And just notice how this shifts your inner being,

Your state of being.

And you can continue this breathing for as long as feels good to you.

I encourage you to practice this several times a day.

And especially if you feel like you are in a state of stress or anxiety,

You can use this simple technique to just take a bit of a time out and do some heart coherent breathing and see what happens.

Love and blessings to you.

Thank you so much for this practice.

Be well.

This is exactly the short breath work I’ve been looking for. I am focusing on improving my cardiac health and felt immediately calm. I plan on using this pattern while listening to my favorite music tracks on insight timer. Thank you for this perfect session and I look forward to exploring more of your work. πŸ™πŸΎπŸŒΊπŸ’š
