Life goes in cycles,
Seasons,
And has its own natural rhythm.
When we let go of trying to control every moment and just let life happen,
We can experience flow.
Every day we have an opportunity to practice listening to and finding our natural rhythm.
Her breath allows us a way to practice feeling into flow and sensing when things are out of balance and alignment.
When we focus on our breathing,
We can see if we are tense,
Forceful,
Relaxed,
Anxious,
Or at peace.
We can use the breath as a tool to help bring us back into the present moment and back into our own natural rhythm.
Following the full cycle of the breath,
Notice the long inhale and how the body effortlessly moves as you take the breath in.
Often at the top of the inhalation,
You may notice the small pause before you exhale,
The space between the in and the out.
The transition from what was to what is.
As the air slowly exits the body,
Notice how the body responds,
The relaxation,
The release,
The letting go.
Note once more the pause,
The space between action and non-action,
The void pregnant with potential,
A pocket of ready for action and yet perfectly poised at rest.
What if we went about life following the natural flow of things?
What if we walked in harmony with the many seasons of life?
What if we observed the cycles of living just like we can observe our breath?
What if we learned to trust our natural rhythm and trust in our flow?
Breathe in,
Pause,
Breathe out,
Pause.
Flowing in,
Pause,
Flowing out,
Pause.
Letting in,
Pause,
Letting go,
Pause.
Ride the wave up,
Pause.
Ride the wave down,
Pause.
Falling in love,
Pause.
Experiencing loss,
Pause.
New opportunity,
Pause.
Chapters coming to a close,
Pause.
Embracing change,
Pause.
Allowing flow,
Pause.
Life is breath.
Breath is life.
May you allow the seasons,
Cycles,
