Hello and welcome.
For the next few minutes,
Find a comfortable position and if you can allow yourself a moment to rest your eyes and rest your body.
You've been showing up for life,
Showing up in the world,
Showing up for other people.
We've been busy accomplishing tasks,
Making sure that other people's needs and requests are being managed,
Taken care of,
Attended to,
And through all the busyness and activity,
We often forget to attend to our own needs.
We often silence the request that is silently beckoning within us.
We care for others often before we care for ourselves.
And so in this moment,
As we rest our body and we rest our eyes,
We take a look inward and we feel inside.
It's not that we diminish what's happening outside of us.
In fact,
Keeping our senses open to listen to our surroundings and be present to the energy that is outside of us.
At the same time,
We drop inside ourselves.
We turn our attention inward and we listen.
We take this opportunity to send a moment of gratitude.
We thank our inner world for patiently waiting for us to slow down enough to listen.
And sometimes it's scary to listen or intimidating.
It's possible that we've been ignoring this voice,
This knowing for a long time.
And sometimes listening to what we really want or what we really need is difficult because it potentially disrupts what we've been doing for so long.
The patterns that we've fallen into,
Even though we know they're unhealthy for us.
And we remember that the first step towards anything is being aware.
When we shine the light of awareness,
We then have an acknowledgment.
We then can see what it is that's before us that potentially could change or we would like to change or something that needs to be tended to.
And we don't have to start by moving mountains.
We start by acknowledgment.
It's one small step forward,
Bit by bit,
That we make progress and real change.
And so in this moment we listen.
We listen to that still inner voice that's showing us what it is we desire most right now.
And we remember that all is well and all is perfectly aligned for us in this moment.
There is no other way,
Even though we'd like to spin a story of how things should be different or if we made different choices.
But we are exactly where we're supposed to be.
We stay connected to our breath,
Continuing to stay connected to our bodies.
And we breathe.
We breathe and we listen.
We are doing the best we can.
Let's honor this moment with another deep breath,
Inhaling,
Exhaling,
And a moment of gratitude.

It always does.
And we will continue to show up as best we can.
And we will remember to listen,
To feel,
To pause and be still.
