Let’s face it, we’ve all had challenging days in the studio. Sometimes our critical voice, disappointment, and frustration are visitors in our heads for longer than we’d like to admit. This meditation is designed to speak to the parts of you that are directly impacted by a challenging day. This is a simple guided practice to help us work through our difficult feelings and emotions and honor our journey.

Let's take this moment and pause.

Take a deep breath in and let it out with some energy.

Once more in and decide as you release.

Close your eyes and be here,

Present.

Today was challenging.

I recognize that a part of me wishes there was a different outcome and that's okay.

Some days produce more profound results and this is part of the journey.

The frustration,

Anger,

Irritation,

And disappointment is as important to feel as the joy,

Excitement,

Inspiration,

And creativity.

Today I showed up.

I made an effort and that is the first step.

I release the outcome of today.

I surrender into understanding that my journey will have ups and downs.

My feelings about today show that I am invested in my progress and I honor that.

I honor my efforts and I honor myself.

And to the part of me that feels frustrated and disappointed,

Thank you.

I know you want the best for me and I appreciate you.

And I invite a part of me that wished for a different outcome to take comfort knowing that there will be another opportunity and we will try again.

What I am experiencing right now shows that I care about my progress.

My journey is just that,

A journey.

It is ongoing and today was just one small part of the larger picture.

And I say to myself,

Thank you for showing up.

Thank you.

I love and appreciate you.
