Welcome to day one of the 7 day chakra guided affirmation challenge.
Today's chakra focus is the root chakra,
Othamuladhara.
It is located at the bottom of your spine.
It's the colour red and governs our feelings of safety,
Security and survival.
It's connected with the material world.
When it's out of balance we can feel anxious,
In lack,
Unstable and worried about finances.
These affirmations will help to balance the root chakra.
Before we begin please make sure you are comfortable,
Seated or lying down.
And just take a deep breath in.
Hold at the top and exhale.
Release.
Start to imagine a glowing red ball at the bottom of your spine.
Your root chakra is healing.
You could begin to imagine roots growing down your spine into the rich soil,
Connecting you to the earth,
Supporting and holding you.
In this meditation I will repeat the affirmations out loud,
I'll give you space to repeat it in your mind and we will go through the affirmations twice.
Let's begin.
I am grounded and stable.
I feel secure.
I have everything I need.
I am safe.
I am abundant.
The universe has my back.
I trust how my life is unfolding.
I am connected to the earth.
I feel supported.
I am loved.
I am prosperous.
I spend time in nature.
I honour all of life's cycles.
Like the water,
I flow with life.
Like the earth,
My roots keep me stable.
Like the air,
I listen to my inner voice.
Like the fire,
I follow my heart with passion.
I am connected to everything and everyone around me.
I belong.
Let's repeat these one more time.
I am grounded and stable.
I feel secure.

Hold and release these affirmations.
Notice how you feel now as opposed to how you did before this meditation.
Notice your body,
Your thoughts,
Your emotions.
Give yourself a big hug.
Wrap your arms around yourself and know that you are loved and supported by the universe,
By yourself.
And to open your eyes,
Take in the world around you.
