Welcome to this affirmation meditation for peace.
Before we begin,
Please make sure you are comfortable either seated or lying down.
When you feel ready,
You can begin to close your eyes or soften your gaze.
In life,
Most of us chase joy and happiness.
We seek excitement and that hit of dopamine when we fall in love,
Or do something crazy and unexpected,
Or achieve a huge goal.
But the low that follows these dopamine hits can leave us feeling empty,
Confused and lost.
Perhaps a goal we should seek instead is peace.
To feel content in life,
Even if nothing special is happening or nothing too exciting is going on.
Just being alive,
Breathing and being here is enough for us.
Constantly seeking validation or approval or wanting instant gratification will never lead to peace.
Peace is calm,
Like a tranquil water.
It's within us all.
It comes from knowing everything is okay and that we are on the right path.
Everything is unfolding in perfect timing.
These affirmations will help us to create peace within us.
I will say the affirmation out loud and then I will leave you space to repeat it in your mind after me.
We will go through the affirmations twice.
Let's begin.
I am calm and centered.
I trust in the unfolding of my life.
I am exactly where I'm supposed to be right now.
Everything is always working out for me.
I feel relaxed knowing that I'm taken care of by the universe.
I am hopeful.
I am at peace with the flow of my life.
I know what's meant for me will not pass me by.
I relax in the knowing that what I want is on its way.
I use my mental energy to focus on what is working out.
I choose to focus on the good.
I am so grateful for my life.
I am so grateful to exist on this planet.
I choose to trust even if others do not.
I choose to believe in myself and my dreams.
I am worthy and abundant just as I am.
I trust in the infinite power of the universe.
Let's go through these one more time.

Notice how you feel now as opposed to how you felt at the beginning of this meditation.
Maybe you do feel more peaceful.
Peace is always there for us.
We just need to remind ourselves of it.
Life can be stressful,
Crazy and busy but when we come back to ourselves and get in touch with our higher self we can create and cultivate peace.
Remember everything is always working out for you even if right now doesn't feel like it.
Begin to open your eyes and take in the peaceful world around you.
