Are you familiar with the difference between prayer and meditation?
Prayer is when you talk to God and meditation is when you listen to God.
When was the last time you listened to God?
I know life is busy and it's hard to find the time to listen to God.
We are constantly blasted with information overload and distractions from every direction.
We are encouraged to accumulate stuff,
Buy more,
Spend more,
Travel more,
Whatever more is it has to be good.
This low frequency noise creates a lot of chaos in our mind and energy field.
To be able to really listen to your messages from the universe,
You need to create time for yourself to be in silence and solitude so you can listen to your inner voice,
Your inner guidance,
Your intuition.
To begin the practice,
Take three deep and slow breaths,
Filling up your lungs and belly,
Then slowly release out through the mouth.
You might want to let go of what you feel is ready to leave,
Perhaps some negative thoughts about yourself or perhaps worry,
Fear,
Self-judgment,
Self-hatred.
You choose what to keep and what to let go.
Allow your breathing to fall back into its normal rhythm and rest your awareness on your inhale and exhale.
Notice where is your mind and what is its primary focus.
Embrace your mind with feelings of love and compassion.
Don't give in to the belief that you have to berate and scold yourself just because you lost your focus for a moment.
Kindly return to your breath awareness.
Notice the inhale and then the exhale.
See if you can inhale for a count of three and exhale for a count of four.
Repeat like this for a few breaths.
Now pause between each inhale and exhale,
Widening the gap after each inhale and exhale.
Observe what's happening when you are in the gap.
Now widen the gap even more,
Gently stretch it between each thought.
You are in charge of your mind and your thoughts.
Every time you bring your mind back to your breath and back to the present moment,
You are training your mind to live in the present moment.
Breathe in,
Feel your breath entering your body from all directions and exhale to all directions.
I invite you to scan your body and notice where you feel any tightness,
Tension or discomfort.
Notice how that feels in your body.
Begin softening,
Releasing and loosening up the muscles in that part of your body.
Imagine a small hole in the center of that tightness.
Take a deep breath into your abdomen and as you breathe out,
Visualize tension being released through the hole,
Like a balloon when it begins deflating.
In your mind's eye,
Scan your body and notice where you need to release some more tension,
Tightness or discomfort.
Now cast a bird's eye view on your life,
On all aspects of your life.
All your experiences,
Pleasant and unpleasant,
Things that you did or didn't do.
Stay as present as you can with all the visuals and images arising in this moment.
Acknowledge all the muscles in your back.
Take a deep breath and stretch your back and as you exhale,
Release tension,
Pain or discomfort from your back.
Take three deep and slow breaths up and down your spine.
Relaxing and clearing the spine from pockets of tension,
Bubble of tension and energy blocks.
Feel your connection with the heaven above and your support from the earth below.
Seize the moment and be with the silence.
When you're ready,
Go ahead and ask the universe for your message.
But first,
What's your question?
What is it that you would like to know?
Inhale,
Exhale.
Take your time to articulate your question.
No need to jump in with the question.
Just allow it to unfold naturally,
Organically.
Once you are ready to release the question into the ether,
Say it out loud if you can.
Now sit back,
Relax and listen.
Trust that you will receive your message when you are ready to process the answer.
The universe are only delivering messages that are ready to be received.
Like a baby,
You won't be given more than you can digest.
Not receiving a message is still a message.
Release your expectations.
You might not receive your message today and that's okay.
You might receive your message when you least expect it and in the form or shape that you don't even think about.
Surrender and trust.
Spend time in silence and solitude and give yourself the opportunity to listen to the universe.
The more silent you are,
The easier it will be for you to listen to your message.
Notice how your body feels right now.
Relax your body.
Go deeper in your relaxation process.
Remove all layers related to fear,
Worry,
Doubt.
If you experience any resistance,
That's okay.
Your resistance is also a message from the universe.
What could it be?
Just listen.
Is there something in your life that has been waiting for your intervention but you kept avoiding it?
Breathe in and out.
The messages come in different forms.
Might be a visual,
A whisper,
A feeling,
A person.
Whatever it is,
Change is beckoning.
Take your time and listen some more.
The quieter you get,
The easier will be for you to hear the message.
Soften your body.
Transcend through the resistance.
Listen with love,
Compassion,
Acceptance,
Forgiveness and trust.
The universe loves you so much.
Be patient.
Your message will be delivered.
Take three cleansing breaths and come back into the room.
