This meditation will create space for you to spend some time with your inner child. Your Soul has been waiting for this moment for a long time to release, heal and let go of past emotions and memories. The deeper you go with your emotions, the lighter you will feel at the end of the meditation. Remember to be gentle with yourself!

Welcome dear soul,

Your inner child has been waiting for you,

Ready to be healed,

Nurtured and showered with love.

So go ahead and find yourself the most comfortable posture so you can fully relax and let go of all the worries,

Doubt,

Fear,

Limiting beliefs.

Become aware of your breath and your body.

Notice where is your awareness and gently guide it to this present moment,

Your breath and your body.

Begin breathing slowly and deeply through the nose.

With every breath let your awareness go deeper and deeper within the depths of your being.

Let's enjoy this present moment and enter every breath from a place of healing.

Let your chest and belly expand with every in-breath and relax with every out-breath.

See if you can elongate the space between each breath and each thought.

Let's begin relaxing the body all the way from the tips of your toes to the top of your head.

Take a breath and relax your toes,

The space between each toe.

Soften and relax your feet,

Your ankles.

Invite this beautiful feeling of relaxation to soften your lower legs,

Your knees,

Upper legs and hips,

Buttocks and pelvis.

Take another deep breath and release any tension and stress from your lower back,

Middle back and upper back.

Relaxing the spine,

Invite the breath to travel between each vertebrae relaxing and releasing any tension from the spine.

Moving to the front of your body,

Relaxing and softening your tummy.

Feel how every breath is there for you to get rid of all the tension.

Relaxing the space around your belly button,

Relaxing your chest and your shoulders.

Take a deep breath and invite a wave of relaxation down your arms,

Feeling your upper arms,

Elbows,

Lower arms fully relaxed.

Let go of any tension or tightness from your hands and your fingers.

And now coming up to your neck,

Relax all the muscles in and around your neck.

Relax your throat.

Become aware of your face.

Relax your jaw,

Lips,

Your mouth.

Relax the nose,

Your cheeks.

Take a breath and relax your eyes,

The space between your eyes,

The muscles around your eyes.

Relax the forehead,

Relaxing the ears and the space between the ears.

Relaxing the whole head together.

Just notice how you feel in this moment.

I invite you to envision a beautiful grounding court extending from the base of your spine and connecting you to earth's energy.

Watch how the grounding cord moves through soil,

Dirt,

Rocks,

Pebbles,

Sand and water and finally reaches the core of the earth.

Allow your grounding cord to rest for the next couple of breaths.

And begin releasing through your grounding cord everything that's not serving you in this moment.

You have permission to do that.

Let go of all your problems,

Other people's problems,

Worries,

Fear,

Drama,

Inner conflict,

Tension,

Stress,

Unhelpful thoughts,

Doubt,

Uncertainty.

Let it all go.

Feel these emotions moving out of your body like going down a slide one by one.

And in your mind's eye follow every emotion as it moves through your body into the grounding cord and land into the earth.

On your next inhale begin drawing up new energy from the earth.

What quality of energy do you need in this moment?

Everything is available.

Choose what you need.

The energy of love,

Inner peace,

Compassion,

Loving-kindness,

Trust,

Acceptance,

Forgiveness.

Invite your body to engage with this calming energy and feel how every cell,

Every atom of your being are feeling uplifted and light,

Dancing with this beautiful energy.

You are being held,

Grounded and supported in this moment.

I invite you to take a journey in your mind's eye to your most favourite place on earth.

There are no limitations so allow your imagination to go wild.

Beautiful surroundings are softening and relaxing your heart.

Perhaps you can see clear blue sky,

Lush and majestic nature all around you.

And even a few birds have come to welcome you,

Singing songs of joy.

As you are walking on the warm and soft ground you begin noticing further in the distance a little child walking towards you.

Take a few deep breaths if needed.

The closer the child gets to you the more familiar the face.

You are looking at this child now and you recognise it that it's you.

Just breathe.

A myriad of feelings and emotions wash over you.

Keep breathing,

You are safe and supported in this moment.

You are getting even closer to each other and your inner child starts running towards you with open arms.

Hug and kiss your inner child with all your heart.

Notice how good it feels to have you in your arms.

Just breathe.

Spend some time in each other's arms.

Tell your child how happy you are to see him or her and say how sorry you are that they had to endure so much emotional pain and discomfort.

Look at your inner child and say,

My dear little one,

I love you.

I hear you.

I see you.

I acknowledge you.

You matter so much to me.

You will always have my love and support.

You are unique.

You are amazing.

I will protect you and keep you safe.

If there is anything else you would like to say to your inner child,

Do so now.

Ask your child if they have any messages or questions for you.

Take a breath and listen.

Take another breath and hold space for your inner child.

And take one more breath and listen deeply like you've never listened before.

You can feel their pain.

You can feel their struggle.

Rest your awareness in your heart space and feel a new form of compassion and loving kindness energy bubbling up in your heart space.

Invite these beautiful energies to move through you and into your child.

Let your breath move gently in and out of your body.

Take this time to set an intention to be there for him or her whenever they need your support.

Meditate on your intention for the next few breaths.

Are you ready?

Start gently moving fingers and toes and open your eyes.

For the next few hours take it easy.

Drink plenty of water and give yourself plenty of time to process all the information that has come up for you.
