Whenever you feel you don't have enough time in your day to do all the things you want to do,
That's exactly when you need to slow down,
Connect to your heart and listen to your intuition.
When we put a lot of pressure on ourself,
The body finds it hard to cope.
Let's practice together,
Creating time and space for ourselves.
Take a moment to just be here,
Focusing your awareness on your breath,
Feeling your breath moving through your body,
In through the nostrils and out through the nostrils.
Stay with your breath and give yourself permission to feel what you feel in this moment without any judgement or any expectation.
Breathing in deeply and exhaling fully for the next three breaths.
Feel your tummy rising and falling with every breath and your chest expanding and relaxing.
Stay as long as you need in this moment,
Allowing the body to rest and relax.
Bring your awareness to your mind now and notice what is going on in there.
What is the predominant thought that's going through your mind right now?
Keep breathing and notice how you feel.
Perhaps there is some tension in your body or pressure in your mind when thinking about your to-do list.
I invite you to bring your attention to that part of the body and take a few mindful breaths directly into that place.
Invite the body to relax and let go of any unhelpful thoughts.
Time and space is an illusion so if you wish you can say to yourself Today I will have all the time I need to do all the things that really matter to me.
Notice how you feel right now.
Perhaps the pressure has been lifted and almost like instantly you can see new ways of reorganising your day and your time.
Just breathe and enjoy this new awareness.
