Hi,
This meditation is for if you're in nature and you're looking for a little guidance in connecting to the world around you.
So I invite you to maybe even take off your shoes right now.
You can do this standing up,
Sitting down,
Lying,
Whatever you feel comfortable with.
I want you to fully immerse yourself into the space around you.
So get as comfortable as you'd like and bring either your hands or your feet or maybe both onto the ground.
This may be the sand,
The soil,
And take a breath into your feet or your hands.
Breathe into that connection.
Maybe start to feel the pulsing in your hands.
Notice what sensations arise here.
Fully transport your mind into either your hands or your feet,
Whatever is in contact with the earth.
Travel down.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Feel the connection.
Immerse yourself into this moment,
Surrendering yourself to earth.
Taking a few more breaths here,
Allowing yourself to be slow and mindful.
And now I invite you to grow curious.
What does the ground feel like?
What sensations are you picking up?
What is the ground telling you?
If we open ourselves up enough,
We can really hear what nature,
What the birds,
What the grass,
What the ground is trying to share.
So with your next breath,
Expand your mind.
Invite in the potential of receiving answers,
Of listening to the grass or the sand or maybe even the rocks.
Every piece of nature holds a story.
They hold lessons and expressions.
Taking a few more breaths here in curiosity.
And whether you're standing,
Lying or sitting down,
Bring your hands to your heart.
Take a breath,
A full deep breath.
Notice that connection now between you and yourself.
Right now we're bridging that gap between you and the world around you.
And now I invite you to open your eyes ever so slowly,
Blinking lightly and then fully.
Feel the colors around you.
What do you notice now that you may not have noticed before?
What piece of the earth is showing themselves to you in this moment?
Exploring the colors,
The potential textures.
Then allow gratitude to wash over you,
Over your ability to see,
To perceive,
To enjoy.
Keep breathing into this gratitude and then sending your loving energy out into nature,
Saying thank you for all that it does for you and with you.
As you connect to the energy,
The space and the nature around you,
You are giving it life,
Meaning,
Purpose.
And the world around you will send that back.
So take the deepest breath that you've taken all day,
Right here and right now,
To seal this practice.
