Welcome to a meditation on connecting with your inner child.
I want you to get super comfortable Maybe even in a child's pose Maybe lying down gently connect to your breath Noticing the rise the gentle pause and the fall Maybe bringing one hand to your heart and the other to your belly and as you sit here with your breath I want you to turn your attention inward deeper and deeper Before you dive in take a moment to say thank you to yourself Thank you for doing the work Thank you for showing up for your inner child Thank you for being wise now Thank you for being the adult that you always needed Want you to visualize of your childhood bedroom?

What are you seeing?
Maybe there's posters stickers Gently scan the room How does this feel?
How are you feeling right now?
You can imagine your younger self standing right beside you As you explore this room remain open and curious What is this child feeling?
What does your child's face look like you to sit down?
Face to face in this room with your inner child take a moment to breathe with your child smile with your child Feel the presence of your child you can start a dialogue here What do you need right now?
What can I do for you?
How can I make you feel safe and protected?
Naturally listen for the answers You have the power in this moment to provide your child everything he or she needs You can make space for your child's emotions You are wise and capable If your younger self wants to act out throw a fit a tantrum Let your child do so But gently remind them you are here You are safe.
Set your child free While providing the comfort the attention and the softness That he or she always needed.
What does your child need right now?
Visualize yourself providing it for your child Maybe a hug maybe verbal attention Take a moment to embrace your child Now bring to life the emotions that you feel For your child now bring to mind your favorite place to go childhood Maybe it's an ice cream shop your grandparents house The park take your child there fully be in that space with your child Enjoying it with them Continuing to remind your child You are not alone You are safe Be in this environment How does it smell?

Who else is there?
What is the feeling that rushes to you in this moment?
Take the next few moments to enjoy this space with your inner child You can give your inner child a hug a smile reminder of safety And then if you're ready and only if you are ready,
You can come back to yourself You can bring your hands to your shoulders Embrace yourself with a hug.
Maybe squeezing your arms Come back to the body Notice the breath take a moment to say thank you once again to yourself the wise adult The capable strong human that you are You are so strong You are wise Thank you Namaste
