Welcome to this relaxing 5 minute meditation.
If you clicked on this meditation and you're already in the right place,
You already did the hard work,
And now all you have to do is relax.
So either sitting or lying down,
Take a moment to get comfortable,
Giving yourself the time to readjust,
And then slowly begin to slow your breath down,
Take an inhale in,
Hold your breath at the top for a gentle pause,
And exhale out,
Let it go.
And again,
Inhale all the way in,
Exhale out,
Releasing all the air from your belly,
Let it go,
Allow the muscles of your face to soften,
Your eyelids to be heavy,
There is nowhere else you need to be right now,
And there is no one else you need to show up as right now,
All you have to do is be you,
And rest,
Allow your breath to be subtle and smooth,
Finding your natural inhales,
And your slow exhales,
Sometimes all we need is a few moments to regain our sense of self,
Come back to the breath,
And be able to flow through the rest of the day more calmly and more aligned,
So slowly come back to your breath,
Noticing the inhales,
And the exhales,
And how it moves through your body,
Start to consciously move your fingers and your toes,
Maybe rock your neck from side to side,
Slowly coming back to your body,
Maybe wrap yourself up in a hug,
And thank you for choosing yourself,
For taking the time,
Even five minutes,
To be with you,
And to regain your sense of self.
