Maybe you've been noticing a feeling of change in the air As you walk down the street and watch a brilliantly colored leaf Fly by in the wind in front of you It's a change of season and we're getting ourselves prepared If not mentally,
Our body is telling us it's time for change How do we catch up with our mind?
Maybe we aren't quite over summer There are a lot of changes and sometimes we resist another one Or we want a big change.
None of these subtle changes We want things to go back the way they were maybe Or to be normal again as if they were ever really normal So how can we embrace the change that is going on around us and in us?
How can we be grateful for what we have received in this year?
The bounty of blessings Invisible sometimes to us but we may have found ourselves Connect to ourselves in a deeper way Listening as we walk along that the leaves will be crunching soon underneath our feet As we get wrapped in more and more layers and feel the transitioning nature of the coming winter when we turn even more inward Right now we may be experiencing the return of some things Making up for lost time,
Going to weddings,
Memorials of people who have passed on that we couldn't get together the last year,
Celebrations that we couldn't go to And feeling maybe a bit of nostalgia in the air right now,
Mixed with anticipation Take a breath in filled with possibility Get yourself comfortable and breathe in where you are and let go of the anxiety of what should be and how it was supposed to be Maybe it's time to consider how good it is that certain things didn't work out the way we wanted them to,
That higher power intervened on your behalf How that relationship really wasn't supposed to work out,
That job you really were miserable in Or maybe it was time to move out of that apartment Or maybe it was just time to let go of some things and get a little lighter Or we could simply be grateful for being a good friend during these times and have gratitude for someone else being a really good friend to us Feel the energy coming into your body from the top of your head all the way down your spine All the way down your spine,
Relaxing,
Letting go,
Letting go of any tension,
Any fears Just let them just gently wash down through your body,
Down into your feet,
Down into the earth,
Into the multi layers transforming the energy as it moves down through the layers to the core And comes up as a glowing golden light ascending up into your feet,
Your legs filling your ankles,
Your calves,
Your knees,
Your hamstrings up through your hips,
This golden energy,
Your abdomen,
Your heart opening,
Your chest expanding,
Your throat feeling the emergence of a song rise As you bring the golden light the palms release and the tension falls from your face as the brain lets go and is free As you breathe in and out find yourself getting a little more relaxed,
A little more letting go Like the trees release their leaves in the wind Release that which no longer serves you Feel grateful for the bountiful harvest this time has brought you Breathing in,
Breathing out Feeling the rise and fall of the breath,
The belly soft Feeling yourself present in your body going a little deeper Letting go of any tension Connecting to yourself Feeling this luminous golden light in your heart center This incredible beautiful gift of the heart,
The place of giving and receiving hugs,
Love A place of courage,
Hope Feel its power Feel its warmth as if it's a light of golden light glowing within you Breathing in,
Feel it expanding,
Bringing its healing energy deep in your body Letting go,
Going deeper Feeling the gratitude within you Bringing love in,
Sending it out to you within yourself deeply Or maybe even sending some out to a future you Or someone you know Or even just the earth Feel this expansion,
This letting go As you go deeper,
As if the universe exists within you Explore the dimensions of your heart spirit So Allow yourself to come back slowly Feeling all the colors of your mind coming into you Feeling the gratitude in your heart Feeling your fingers,
Your toes Feeling a little more relaxed,
At the same time energized,
A little more grateful And then maybe put your hands on your heart Breathe into your heart,
Let go of the breath And be grateful for allowing yourself these few minutes Breathing in the gratitude,
The beautiful day Sending out gratitude,
Taking the time for yourself Have a beautiful day,
Whatever you do Opening your eyes,
Feeling perhaps the world is a little more colorful,
