Make yourself comfortable,

Sit tall with your back straight,

Make sure both of your sit bones are grounded and connected to the earth as you are taking this moment out of your day to connect back with yourself,

To come back to your center and release any inner tension.

And just start by observing your breath,

Observing each inhale and exhale without interfering,

Noticing as well the space between each inhale and exhale,

No rush and no pressure,

Try not to control your breath in any specific way,

Simply just be there and observe.

And now in your mind's eye picture your favorite mountain,

Or if you don't have any favorite mountain,

Just any mountain that you remember from a picture,

From a video or maybe you was actually there,

Just see it,

Imagine its shape,

Is it tall,

Is it steep,

Is it connected to any other mountains,

Do its roots spread wide,

Is it massive and solid,

Feel the energy of this mountain as you just sit and breathe,

Imagine as if you was inhaling the mountain into your being,

Making it a part of you,

Feel the majesty of the mountain within,

Keep visualizing the mountain within as if your head were the peak and your body the depth and the breadth of the mountain,

Your legs the roots burrowing into the soil and as you feel the body of the mountain within your body,

Sense as if it is lifting you upward and filling you outward,

See the sun rise and fall,

The stars emerge in their millions and the moon radiate on your slopes,

See summer with its brightness merge into autumn and as the leaves start to fall you let go a little more,

Then the winter comes and brings more weather that cloaks your body until it softly melts into spring.

All this time you are unmoving,

Accepting of all the seasons,

The light and dark,

The cold and warm as you still keep standing strong and stable,

Grounded in your center.

Everything in our lives is constantly changing,

Nature,

Our bodies,

Our minds.

Like the mountain we have periods of light and dark,

Warmth and coldness,

Joy and sorrow,

The weather of our minds is changing.

Can you sit amid it all,

In calm presence,

Feeling ease within your body?

In this moment can you feel equanimous and non-reactive to the ever-changing kaleidoscope of your life?

Feel yourself as the strong and stable mountain,

Accepting all and rejecting nothing,

Remembering that you are so much stronger than your thoughts,

Than your emotions,

So much stronger than your life situation and anything that is happening around you.

Trust in your own power,

Being proud of yourself,

Proud and strong in your being,

Grounded like the mountain,

Centered in love and peace.

Keep breathing now slowly and deeply,

As you are slowly extending your breath,

Just express some love,

Gratitude and appreciation for yourself.

Thank you so much for connecting today,

I am sending you lots of love,

Peace and blessings.

Namaste.

Wonderful start to the day, worked nicely as I did 10 min on the exercise bike. It helped me to pace myself on the bike and 2 min of cardio at the end of the track 👌
