Welcome,
Love.
You've done enough for today.
This is your time to soften,
To finally exhale and to simply just be.
Let your body lie down,
Let the bed or the earth underneath you just hold you.
Nothing to fix,
Nothing to do.
You are safe to let go.
Make sure you are comfortable for this practice.
Feel free to adjust your pillows,
Your blankets and any support you might need.
In this session,
We are going to go through some somatic awareness in your body to help you relax even deeper and ground yourself and soften before falling asleep.
Let's arrive to your body now.
Bring the awareness to the places where your body is touching the bed,
The mattress,
The surface underneath you.
Which parts of your body are directly connected to the ground.
Feel the weight of your head,
Your shoulders.
Feel your hips sinking down and your heels just resting.
Let the gravity take over.
Let yourself be held.
Feel your feet.
Soften them as they are melting into the bed.
Notice your belly.
Rise and fall gently.
In and out.
In and out as you breathe.
No need to change anything.
Feel your chest rising,
Expanding and then relaxing,
Falling down.
Let your shoulders just rest.
Release that heaviness of worry and stress from your shoulders.
Let this weight melt down to the You don't have to engage any muscles now.
You can just rest that head and that neck.
Let a gentle warm golden light sweep through your bosy.
Let it soften your face,
Your facial muscles.
Flowing through you like honey,
Reaching every little part where you still might be holding some tension or stiffness.
Let it golden light totally relax you.
Calm your nervous system and clear out your mind.
Notice even your fingers resting.
Your toes relax.
Your inner thighs softly open.
Your whole body just enjoying this blissful stillness.
It is time to recharge and to just be.
Your body is wise.
It knows how to rest.
So trust it.
You are safe.
Let's connect deeper with the breath now.
We'll just be doing soft belly breaths.
Starting that breath in the belly,
Going through the ribs and chest.
We'll be inhaling for the count of 4 and exhaling for the count of 6 to activate your vagus nerve and move your nervous system to the rest and digest mode.
Breath in 1 2 3 4.
Breath out 1 2 3 4 5 6.
Breath in 1 2 3 4.
And on the breath out you can softly sigh out as you relax even more.
Inhale 1 2 3 4.
Exhale 1 2 3 4 5 6.
Keep going.
And just 3 more rounds.
Keep going.
Come back to your natural breath now and just listen,
Feel it and observe.
Beautiful my dear.
Now I invite you to imagine a warm blanket of light covering you.
From your toes to your crown.
As if maybe your best friend or someone you really love puts that blanket on you with love and care.
Making you feel even more comfy,
Cosy and supportive.
Let this blanket and the warm healing light of this blanket surround you and be present within you.
Every wave of your breath is softening the edges of your day,
Is helping you melt down that heaviness,
That tension.
Every exhale is bringing you closer and closer to yourself and closer to that space of divine awareness where you don't think,
You just are.
Totally present and still.
Sometimes it's ok and it's natural to feel tired or even exhausted.
You don't have to carry all that weight anymore.
It's also ok to rest,
To take that time to just rest and just be.
In the space you are loved just as you are.
You are safe.
You are not alone.
Your body is so wise.
It knows how to rest.
It knows how to relax and how to soften.
Let it lead you into sleep.
Let it lead you into deep sleep.
Healing sleep.
Every part of your body becoming more and more heavy.
More and more connected to the Earth.
Your mind just observing here.
Let yourself just be.
Go deeper beyond your mind.
Go deeper beyond your body.
Melting into the state of restful sleep.
Where your awareness is still present and still active.
I surrender to rest.
I surrender to rest.
I surrender to rest.
Let yourself drift away into the soft darkness of sleep.
Your body will take you there as you allow yourself to simply let go.
Surrender into this peaceful space.
Know that you are held.
That you are safe and grounded.
Sleep well,
My dear.
Good night.
Namaste.
