As you are becoming more and more still,
Maybe lying down on your back or on the side,
I invite you to really,

To give yourself the space to let go and release.

You're going to sleep with a calm mind and a grateful heart.
I'm going to guide you through a gentle body scan as we relax deeper and deeper and then inviting some affirmations to soothe your nervous system and bring you closer and closer to sleep.
Start feeling the weight of your body on the bed supported.
You don't have to carry any weight anymore.
You are free to let go.
Feeling the back of your body supported,
The front of your body open.
You are safe here.
You can rest deeply.
Being really loving and compassionate to yourself in this space.
Can you take a few deep,
Releasing breaths without forcing too much,
But just letting the energy to flow through you?
Inhaling slowly,
Exhaling deeply.
As you inhale,
Creating more space from within.
As you exhale,
Just totally releasing this day with a gentle sigh out.
A few more times like that.
Letting your inhales and exhales be like the waves of the ocean.
Just coming and going.
Perfect flow of balance,
Of peace.
You don't have to do much,
Just being here,
Breathing and listening.
Letting your breath carry you deeper and deeper into that relaxation space.
Letting your body slowly melt to the earth.
Starting to feel your feet.
Your right and left ankle relaxing.
Your right and left knee soft and supported.
Your right and left hip open and resting.
Your right and left shoulder totally melting down to the ground.
The back of your head supported as well.
The earth is holding your weight.
Feeling the breath in your belly as your belly softens.
Feeling the breath in your ribs as they expand and come closer together.
Feeling your chest,
Your heart space rising and falling naturally.
Can you notice that inner steadiness that comes through your breath?
You are fully here.
Your body is here.
Your breath is here.
Your awareness is here.
Letting your body truly rest now as we go deeper into your subconscious mind.
Inviting gentle affirmations to soothe your nervous system.
To help you calm down even more.
Just quietly repeating them in your mind and feeling the energy of each word.
I am letting myself rest.
My whole body is resting now.
My legs are relaxed and heavy.
My glutes are melting down to the earth.
My back is fully supported.
My shoulders don't carry any weight anymore.
My head is resting here.
My mind is open and receptive.
I am safe in this cosy space.
I trust my body and its wisdom.
I am forever supported by life.
I am healthy and my body knows how to heal itself.
All my organs are healthy.
I am guided by love.
Love is always supporting me.

I choose trust over fear.
