Welcome to this relaxing meditation.
Make sure you are really comfortable in your bed now,
Lying down on your back or if you can't on one of the sides.
Make sure your body is supported in the best way possible,
Adjusting the pillows,
The blankets.
If you have any pressure in your lower back you can place a folded blanket or another pillow underneath your knees,
Just to release any pressure.
Make sure your spine is in a straight line and you have the space in your chest to breathe deeply.
Invite more deep breaths now into your body,
Taking a deep inhale and when you exhale totally relax and totally release any tension.
Inhale filling up your belly,
Your ribs and chest with the fresh air and exhaling totally relaxing and releasing,
Connecting to the earth underneath you.
Keep breathing like that deeply and gently,
Softening every breath and bringing more awareness into your body.
Lying down with the arms alongside your body,
Slowly coming back to stillness,
Connecting to this present moment of here and now.
There's nothing you have to do,
Nothing you have to think about.
Just give this time purely to yourself to rest and restore.
Feel the surface underneath you.
What texture is your sheet?
What texture is your mattress?
Rest your whole body now as if you are pressing the blueprint of your entire body into the earth.
Taking a long slow breath in and exhale now,
Leaving away all the physical tension,
All the mental tension and all the emotional tension.
As gravity takes hold,
Feel your organs getting heavy and sinking towards the earth.
As your upper body becomes lighter and lighter,
Let the muscles around your eyes soften and the skin on your forehead melt.
As your body,
As your body slowly spreads like water and as you let go another 5%,
Release that trying,
The doing,
The fighting and come into the space of being,
Only being.
No need to try so hard here.
Let the soft hum of your breath come and go of its own accord.
Your breath is breathing you.
Allow yourself to be held here by the earth as if you were being held in the arms of a mother who loves you and supports you so much.
With this sweet support are you more able to drop into your inner landscape?
Are you more able to feel a soothing sensation washing through you,
Filling every space of your being?
Know that this feeling,
This peace is always there for you,
Waiting patiently for you to uncover it whenever you need.
This is your space of peace,
Your space of awareness and your space of safety.
Feel yourself now merging into the earth,
Relaxing every part of your body deeper and deeper,
Relaxing your head and any inner tension in your mind,
Relaxing your face,
Softening your jaw muscles,
Your cheeks,
Your forehead,
Relaxing your neck from the back,
The front,
From the right and the left side now,
Feeling the warming and calming sensation through both of your shoulders,
Allowing them to sink in deeper towards the earth,
Releasing any worry,
Anything you don't want right now,
Making more space for peace,
Unconditional love and infinite abundance,
Connecting deeper with the earth through the surface underneath you,
Feeling your upper,
Middle and lower back melting to the earth,
Becoming one with the earth,
Relaxing your chest and any heaviness that you're holding in your heart right now,
Releasing any heavy feelings and inviting more love,
Forgiveness and acceptance,
Breathing more air into your belly space,
Making more space from the front of your body,
Deepening your awareness and expanding your space to receive pure,
Unconditional love from divine,
Relaxing both of your glutes now,
Sinking in to the surface underneath you,
Allowing them to soften,
Allowing your legs to be still,
Relaxing your hamstrings,
Your leg muscles from the back,
Your calves and your heels and relaxing your muscles on your legs from the front as well,
Your thighs,
Your knees and your shins,
Opening up to the warm and calming sensation flowing through your legs right now,
Relaxing and grounding through your feet,
Relaxing every part of your right and your left foot now,
Giving thanks to your feet for holding you,
For supporting you throughout each day,
Helping you move from one space to the other and helping to ground yourself as well,
Remind yourself,
Remind your body that you are safe here,
That you are supported,
That you are grounded,
Open up to the pure energy of calm and relaxation flowing through your whole body now,
Through your mind and through your heart as well,
Releasing any heaviness back to the earth and opening up to the flow of the life energy within you that is nourishing you,
Soothing you and supporting you when your body is more and more relaxed,
Slowly coming back to the space of pure peace and pure consciousness,
Staying open to the experience of consciousness,
Being aware of this space,
Not trying to judge it,
To define it,
To interact with it,
Just being open and being still,
Allow the space to hold you,
To nourish you from within,
To fill you up with more love and even more divine peace,
Knowing that pure and divine love and peace never end,
These are infinite and most powerful energies,
To stay open to them,
Allow them to bless you,
To fill you up with strength and expand your space of awareness more and more,
Know that you deserve it,
You deserve all this rest,
You deserve a blissful sleep every night and you deserve to feel good,
