Hello.
Welcome to this simple daily clearing exercise.
So the intention with this exercise is that we are going to clear our space both within and around us of any negative energies.
So this is really helpful first thing in the morning or just before you go to bed,
Before you go to sleep.
It's also really helpful if you are someone who's quite sensitive to other people's energies.
So if you live in a city or if you are in a work environment that involves a lot of people,
Perhaps it's even a work environment that is quite highly charged so a lot of stress,
Anxiety,
Maybe frustration,
Grief.
So really beneficial in those situations.
Also I have found it's very helpful if you are someone who puts your hands on people regularly.
So perhaps you are a health practitioner or a healer or a carer.
Anyone who has their hands on people I find this simple daily clearing exercise really helpful.
We're going to come onto the mat now and share the practice together and I have my beautiful precious green plant.
It helps me to clear my studio space every day.
It's going to help us as well.
So come and find your Ouija posture.
Feet shoulder-width apart.
Begin to soften and relax your joints,
Softening through your toes,
Connecting to the earth,
That supportive Yin energy,
Very grounding.
Soften through the ankles,
The knees,
The hips,
Your shoulders,
Elbows,
Hands.
Just allow for a little space under the armpits,
All to help let your energy flow,
Your Qi flow.
Let's activate our Taiji pole.
So we lift through the pubic bone.
So just lifting the pubic bone or tucking your tailbone under a little,
Tuck your chin in,
Bring your tongue to rest on the roof of your mouth behind your top front teeth.
Imagine a string gently lifting through the crown of your head.
So we're lengthening our spine,
Accessing this central column,
This central meridian of energy.
This allows us to be a conduit of energy between the earth and the heavens.
So accessing,
Opening our Taiji pole.
Begin to soften your shoulders.
They often need a little reminder it's okay to relax.
And then let your breath begin to sink down,
Down,
Down into your lower belly,
Into your lower Dan Tian.
We can set our intention for practice together today.
Let us cultivate mindful attention towards clearing our space.
And most importantly,
Let's bring a smile to our face.
This smiling energy both through the eyes and the rise of the corner of the mouth is helping us to access compassion,
This unconditional love in our middle Dan Tian.
I'm taking that into our practice together today.
Gently turn your palms up and draw them out to the side.
So they're facing the heavens,
All this heavenly Qi above us.
I invite you to say out loud,
Or you might like to say this silently in your mind.
I humbly request my higher power of understanding,
Which is the consciousness both within and all around me,
Along with my guides and my goddesses,
To assist me in clearing any negative energies in and around my space that no longer serve my highest good.
And please send them back to where they need to go for their own soul growth.
And so it is inhaling in,
Exhale.
Two more of those.
Inhale,
Gathering any negative energies.
Exhale out through the mouth.
Again,
One more.
Releasing.
Let your arms come back to rest in their Wuji posture and begin to move in a counterclockwise direction with your body.
Starting from your feet,
We're moving in a counterclockwise direction up through the legs,
Through the belly,
Through the chest,
Through the neck,
Through the head,
Releasing any negative energies up towards the heavens.
And coming to stillness.
Let's take three deep breaths into the belly,
Down into our lower Dantian.
You might like to bring a gentle snarl to your face.
And now let's bring in the positive energy.
So drawing the palms out to the side again,
Palms facing up towards the heavens.
Saying out loud or silently in your mind,
I humbly request my higher power of understanding,
The consciousness within and all around me,
Along with my guides and my goddesses,
To send blessings of light and love,
Health and healing to protect and guide me.
And so it is.
Gently float the arms up,
Gathering all this positive energy and wash it down through centre as you exhale through the nose.
Inhaling through the nose,
Gathering positive,
Beautiful energy,
Exhaling,
Washing it down through your centre.
One more.
Beautiful.
And now we spiral in a clockwise direction,
Starting with the head.
So slowly starting some spirals with the head,
Through the upper Dantian,
Let it come through the neck,
To the chest,
Your middle Dantian,
To your belly,
Your lower Dantian.
Spiralling through the legs,
Spiralling all the way down through your feet into the earth,
Imagining warm golden light spiralling through and around your body.
Come to stillness with three deep belly breaths here,
Visualising this warm,
Positive golden light filling us up inside and surrounding us.
One more belly breath here.
We come towards the end of the practice.
Let's bring our palms to rest over our lower Dantian.
Gently draw your feet together.
Take a big breath into the belly.
Just allow yourself to release all efforts.
Allow your body to rock and sway.
Let that warm golden light flow wherever it needs to flow.
Filling you with light and love,
Health and healing.
And it's protecting and guiding you.
Bringing the palms up to our middle Dantian.
Take a breath in here.
Filling the heart.
Bringing the palms up to the upper Dantian,
Just gently resting between the eyebrows.
Big breath here.
