Welcome to this meditation on honoring your journey.
I invite you to get seated in a comfortable position.
Keep your spine straight but relaxed,
Sitting with purpose,
But also allowing your shoulders to relax,
Your jaw to relax.
And just start to focus on your breath as you inhale and exhale.
Notice the air as you breathe in and fill up your lungs and your belly.
And slowly release and exhale,
Long,
Slow,
And gentle exhalation.
Notice if you feel any tension or anything that's tight in your body and just breathe into that space,
Allowing it to soften just a little bit more with each breath.
And as you breathe in,
Breathe in serenity.
Inhale any stress,
Overwhelm,
Anything you might be holding onto.
Breathe in serenity,
Slowly and gently exhale anything you want to release,
Stress,
Tension,
Overwhelm.
In this moment,
All is well.
In this present moment,
You are here.
Be here now.
Imagine yourself standing in front of a door.
What color is this door?
Imagine the handle,
And as you stand in front of the door,
Slowly put your hand on the knob and open the door.
As you look inside the room,
You notice there are two chairs in this room.
It's an empty room with two chairs.
You notice that someone is sitting in one of the chairs.
You look closer.
This someone is you.
As you walk towards the empty chair sitting across from you,
You sit down and look into the eyes of this version of you.
How old are you?
What point of your life is this version?
Is it in the future or is it yourself as you are right now?
What are you wearing?
As you reach out and hold hands with this version of yourself,
Look into their eyes and notice the twinkle and sparkle in their eyes.
They have a message for you.
What is this message?
As you squeeze their hands,
You look in their eyes and thank them for this message.
As you leave,
You notice a light smile on your face.
Know you can come back to this version of yourself at any time.
And now in this moment,
Come back to your heart space and honor your journey and imagine yourself from the time you were born.
And notice as you go through the stages of your life,
Honor your journey as you're growing up,
Going to school,
Your interactions,
The big events in your life,
The good and the challenging,
Honoring your journey all the way to this very moment.
You have overcome incredible things.
You are strong.
You are powerful.
And you're just getting started.
I invite you now to place your hand on your heart and press down on your heart space and give thanks for your body,
For being here throughout this journey.
Thank you,
Body.
Thank you for carrying me through this journey.
And give thanks for the future.
You're just getting started.
Amazing things are unfolding.
The best is yet to come.
