The Buzzing Bee Technique.
This is a great one to use if you want to calm your mind quickly.
Sit up straight in a quiet,
Well-ventilated place.
Keep a gentle smile on your face.
Close your eyes and follow my voice.
Stay still for a few moments.
Observe the sensations in your body and look for quietness within.
Place your two fingers on your ears to shut out as much of the external world as you can.
Any sounds or things outside of you.
This helps you to bring your attention further inwards.
Take a deep belly breath in and hold it as you exhale,
Breathe out and make a low,
Deep humming sound like a bee.
Let's do this together now.
Humming sound.
So breathe in again and continue the same pattern three to four times.
