Why are five days with you passing in the blink of an eye,

While five days without you drag their feet with incredibly slow pace?

Time is supposed to be neutral,

A tender force,

Impartial space to hang out in,

Tick-tocking steadily in its own way.

It must be the joy of our companionship that forces time to stop,

Shakes up natural laws and makes it run to catch up.

It must be our love that makes time reconsider its mere existence and test my patience when you are near.

I guess I just have to learn to live without time,

Disregard its pace or laws,

Just enjoying every second I spend my life with you.
