Welcome before the day asks anything from you.
Before the notifications responsibilities,
Expectations.
Take this moment just for yourself.
Sometimes we wake up already feeling behind.
As if the mind started running before the body even had a chance to arrive.
Maybe there's pressure,
Maybe there's tension.
Maybe there's already a quiet feeling that you should be.
Link more.
Moving faster.
Figuring everything out.
But for now You do not need to rush into this moment.
You are allowed to begin slowly.
Take a deeper breath in through the nose.
And gently exhale.
Breathing in.
And breathing out Allow your shoulders to soften a little.
Relax the muscles around the eyes.
Unclench the jaw if there is any holding there.
And simply notice how your body feels this morning without trying to change anything.
Notice the weight of your body being supported.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Notice your breath moving naturally.
You do not need to force calm.
You do not need to force clarity.
Just begin by arriving.
Sometimes the feeling of being behind doesn't come from this moment.
Comes from caring yesterday into today.
The unfinished thoughts,
The comparisons,
The pressure to keep up.
The fear of falling behind in life somehow.
And little by little.
The nervous system starts believing I am late.
I am not doing enough.
I need to hurry.
But right now.
Take one slow breath and remind yourself.
There is nowhere you need to emotionally race to.
In this moment.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Imagine loosening your grip.
On the need to catch up.
Not giving up,
Not stopping your life.
Just releasing the pressure to begin this day already.
In survival mode.
See if you can soften the chest Soften the belly.
And allow the breath to become just a little easier.
Our moment.
Let yourself experience what it feels like to simply be here.
Without measuring yourself against time.
For the activity.
Or expectations.
You are not behind for needing rest.
You are not behind for moving at a human pace.
You are not behind because your nervous system is tired.
You are allowed.
To begin again from where you are.
Now gently bring your awareness back to the breath.
Inhaling slowly.
And exhaling fully.
And ask yourself quietly.
How do I want to move through this day?
Not perfectly,
Not productively,
Not urgently,
But honestly.
Maybe the answer is more grounded,
More present.
More compassionate with yourself?
Let that intention settle softly into the body.
As this practice comes to an end,
Remember Your worth is not measured by how quickly you move through life.
You do not need.
To rush.
To deserve this day.
Take one more deep breath in.
And a slow breath out.
And whenever you're ready,
Gently open the eyes.
Beginning from here.
