Welcome.
If you've been trying to stay positive,
But something inside you feels tired of trying,
This meditation is for you.
You don't need to push past that feeling here.
You don't need to reframe it.
And you don't need to figure anything out right now.
There is no rush.
And nothing about you needs to change in this moment.
Take a moment to arrive in a way that feels comfortable.
You might be sitting,
Lying down,
Or gently moving.
However you're here is enough.
And if your mind feels busy,
Emotional,
Or unsure,
That is welcome too.
Pause for a breath.
Let yourself notice that you are breathing,
Without trying to deepen it or control it.
Just noticing breath moving in.
Another gentle pause.
This practice isn't about becoming calm.
It's about becoming honest.
Learn to trust effort,
Logic,
And pushing forward.
And those skills have helped you survive,
Achieve,
And keep going.
But self-trust leaves somewhere quieter.
Somewhere it leaves beneath the strategies.
Beneath the pressure to know.
Beneath the need to stay optimistic.
Bring your attention,
Not to fix it,
Just to listen.
Notice any place that feels heavy,
Tight,
Or tired.
You don't need to make it go away.
Just acknowledge it.
Self-trust doesn't mean having answers.
It means being willing to stay present with what's true right now.
So,
Instead of asking what should I do with my life,
Or what's the right next step,
Let's ask something simpler.
Quietly,
Inwardly,
What am I noticing?
And let the answer be physical.
A sensation.
A temperature.
A sense of expansion or contraction.
Whatever shows up is information.
Not a command.
Not a problem.
Just information.
You might notice that some parts of you feel uncertain,
While other parts feel steady.
Both can exist at the same time.
Self-trust grows when we stop demanding certainty and start allowing complexity.
Take another slow breath.
Imagine for a moment that you don't need to decide anything today.
Not about work.
Not about relationships.
Not about who you're becoming.
Imagine that your only job right now is to stay connected to yourself.
Notice what that feels like.
Maybe it's subtle.
Maybe it's quiet.
Maybe it's just a sense of being here.
That's enough.
This is how self-trust begins.
Not as confidence,
But as presence.
Not as motivation,
But as honesty.
Rest here for a few breaths.
Before we finish,
Gently remind yourself.
I don't have to know everything to trust myself.
I can move forward one felt step at a time,
And I am allowed to be unfinished.
Let those words land in your own way.
When you're ready,
Slowly bring your attention back to the room around you.
Notice sound.
Notice your body where it is.
And carry this with you.
Not as an answer,
But as a relationship with yourself that you can return to.
