Welcome to this morning practice.

This is your chance to begin the day with clarity,

Calm and ease.

No matter what yesterday held or what today may bring right now,

You can reset,

Simply by being present with your breath and body.

Let's begin by softening you.

Relax your forehead.

Unclench your jaw.

Let your shoulders drop just a little more.

Feel the weight of your body supported beneath you.

Notice how even a small release of tension creates space.

A soft face.

A softer body.

These invite a softer mind.

Now turn your attention to your breath.

You don't need to control it.

Let the breath breathe your body.

Feel the natural rhythm.

Air moving in,

Moving out.

Notice where you sense it most clearly.

Maybe at the nostrils,

The chest,

Or the rise and fall of your belly.

Each breath is different.

Each one arrives and each one passes.

Nothing stays.

This is the nature of breath.

The nature of life.

See if you can rest in this awareness without trying to change anything.

Breath comes and goes.

Thoughts,

Emotions move through just like clouds across the sky.

You don't need to grasp them.

You don't need to push them away.

Notice how freeing it feels to simply observe.

This is the essence of clarity.

Being present with what is without being carried away.

Take one more deep breath in and slowly exhale.

As you move into your day,

Carry this awareness with you.

A relaxed face,

A calm breath.

A reminder that each moment is fresh and new.

Whenever you feel rushed or heavy,

Pause.

Notice one breath.

Let the breath reset you.

Today,

You begin with calm and clarity.
