COURSE
With Rahul Singh
Waking in the middle of the night and being unable to get back to sleep can quickly become frustrating, stressful, and exhausting. You may wake at 2AM, 3AM, 4AM, or in the early morning... check the time... calculate how much sleep is left... start worrying about tomorrow... and then feel yourself becoming more awake. This five-day course is designed for people who struggle with middle-of-the-night waking, broken sleep, sleep-maintenance insomnia, nighttime anxiety, racing thoughts, clock-checking, sleep pressure, and difficulty returning to sleep after an awakening. Guided by Rahul Singh, you will learn a practical back-to-sleep approach based on reducing unnecessary mental and physical activation rather than trying to force sleep. Across the course, you will explore why sleep effort can increase alertness, what to do during the first few minutes after waking, how clock-checking creates sleep maths and anxiety, how to handle intrusive or repetitive thoughts about tomorrow, and how to use one simple back-to-sleep plan whenever the night is interrupted. You will learn how to: - reduce the pressure to fall asleep quickly - respond calmly to nighttime awakenings - stop clock-checking and sleep calculations - reduce worry about how tired you will feel tomorrow - manage nighttime overthinking and racing thoughts - recognise planning, replaying, predicting, and rumination - use neutral attention to reduce mental activation - protect the sleepy state after waking - stop monitoring whether sleep is returning - know what to do when you remain awake - build a calm, repeatable response to interrupted sleep This course is not about perfect sleep or forcing yourself to relax. It is about changing what happens after you wake... so a brief awakening is less likely to become prolonged wakefulness. By the end, you will have a clear and practical back-to-sleep plan you can use whenever you wake during the night. Ideal for listeners experiencing insomnia, fragmented sleep, frequent nighttime waking, early-morning waking, sleep anxiety, overthinking at night, nervous-system activation, difficulty staying asleep, difficulty returning to sleep, or fear of being awake in the middle of the night.
