Rest arrives much more easier when the body feels safe in stillness, silence and letting go. In this course you will learn and apply the four principles of yin yoga. Applying the principles ON the mat helps the body let go of stress and anxiety, allows the body release emotions in the tissues and improves flexibility . Applying these principles OFF the mat creates a road the mind can follow when the body needs to rest but the mind is activated. In this course we focus on the principles on the mat, with a yin practice and off the mat with a daily invitation. This course can take you 4 days, if you choose to work on one principle per day, but it can also take you more time if you care called to take more time and explore a principle for various days and see how it unfolds! However you choose to navigate it is the right way.

Lección 1
Find Your Edge
In this lesson you will learn about yin and yang energies and we will dive into the first principle: find your edge. You will explore this principle on the mat with a guided yin practice and also receive an invitation to explore your edge in daily life. This principle applied in daily life brings the practice of growing our resilience, growing our capacity to sit right out our comfort zone; stimulating the nervous system in a healthy way, teaching it we can grow and be safe. Lección 2
Exploring Stillness
In this lesson, you will learn the benefits that your body will experience from practicing this type of yoga, and we will dive into the second principle: stillness. Exploring also the benefits of finding stillness on and off the mat. You receive a guided yin practice and the invitation to find stillness in your daily life. Cultivating stillness (re)teaches our minds the amazing things that exist outside of "being productive." Lección 3
Holding Or Letting Go
In this class you we will go into the third principle: holding for a specific amount of time. You will dive into this principle on the yoga mat and will be invited to explore it in your daily life. Holding goes hand in hand with letting go, and consciously working with one or the other can also help us cultivate a life more aligned with our true desires. Lección 4
Releasing Mindfully
In this class you we will go into the fourth and final principle: releasing mindfully. You will explore this principle on the yoga mat with a yin practice at the end of class and will be invited to explore it in your daily life. Releasing mindfully brings in an energy of honoring and celebrating what has passed before we move to the next thing. It is a great tool to help our minds pause and enjoy the moment!
