Begin this practice by finding your comfortable seat,
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
Take a deep breath out through the mouth,
Find your breath in your body,
Notice your breath,
Tune into your breath,
And let's do a compassion practice.
Send the wish,
May all beings be happy,
And may my words come out of that intention.
May all beings be peaceful,
And may my words create peace in the world.
May all beings be in harmony with each other,
And may my words come out of that intention.
And now imagine yourself speaking,
And all your speech is honest,
Wise,
And beautiful.
The words coming out of your mouth are just naturally honest,
Wise,
And beautiful.
What does that feel like to you?
What does that look like for you?
See yourself saying authentic,
Gentle,
Beautiful words.
See yourself saying the absolute truth in gentle,
Beautiful words,
And it's you.
And see that version of yourself.
Enacting to that ease,
To that confidence,
To that naturalness,
To that lightness.
Speaking always from the heart.
Set the intention that your speech creates peace,
Not separation.
Set the intention that your speech lifts people up,
Not gets people down.
Set the intention that your speech comes from a deep place inside you,
From your heart,
And that your speech comes from a place that knows that all beings suffer,
And it's not our job to add to that suffering.
Setting the intention.
May my words sound like beautiful music.
May my words make the world a better place.
May what I say add to the beauty and the happiness around me.
May my words reduce suffering and make the world a better place.
May the words I say be enjoyable to me.
May the words I say be authentic to me.
Setting that intention from the heart,
And ending with kind wishes for yourself.
To end,
Put a hand on your heart and say,
May I endlessly support myself in my mission to make the world a better place.
May I take care of myself so that it's easier to send compassion to others.
May I be kind and generous and forgiving of myself.
May I be safe and keep myself safe.
May I find joy every day and share that joy with others through my thoughts and my actions and my speech.
And release the hand,
And let's take three 4-7-8 breaths.
Inhaling for 1-2-3-4.
Hold 2-3-4-7.
Exhale out through the mouth for 2-3-4-5-6-7-8.
And inhaling again for 1-2-3-4.
Hold 2-3-4-5-6-7.
Exhaling out through the mouth for 2-3-4-5-6-7-8.
Last breath.
Inhaling for 1-2-3-4.
Hold 2-3-4-5-7.
Exhaling out through the mouth for 2-3-4-5-6-7-8.
And opening your eyes,
Coming back.
