Put your hands on your hips,
Lift your chin,
And pull your shoulders back.
And imagine a warm,
Glowing light beginning right in the center of your chest.
Now,
Smile as you remember something that happened yesterday that you feel grateful for.
Recall what that was now.
And as you smile,
Feel the gratitude begin to spread throughout your chest,
Creating that warm,
Lovely glow.
Good.
Now,
Let yourself tune in to the first thing that pops into your mind to be grateful for right here and right now.
And smile at that lovely thought,
Allowing the gratitude to spread and flow throughout your body,
Deepening that glow in the center of your chest.
Now,
Breathe in and blow out any tension,
Noticing the glow inside your chest getting even brighter,
Noticing how light and bright gratitude makes you feel as it easily releases any tension or tightness.
And finally,
Who is the first person that comes to mind that you feel grateful for?
Think of this person now and how grateful you feel for them,
Brightening the glow even more in your chest as you smile and continue to circulate the gratitude throughout your body.
Feeling lighter still and increasing the glow in your heart center to surround your entire body now in a calm,
Relaxed,
Glowing light.
Feeling wonderful,
Calm,
And glowing.
You come back into the room with a gentle smile on your face and open your eyes,
Aware and awake,
And ready to move on with a wonderful day.
