And something to hope for.
With that in mind,
Sit up straight or lie down gently.
Take a deep cleansing breath in,
Blow it out,
And begin to relax.
Breathe and just sink into your body.
Use this time to relax and settle into the quiet and calm of your body.
To help quiet your mind and calm negative thoughts,
Call to mind something in your life,
Something simple that you do that brings you a sense of enjoyment.
Next,
Call to mind someone that you love.
Whether they are currently in your life or not,
Call them to mind now,
And let yourself feel those wonderfully loving feelings as you think about this person.

For example,
Coffee in the morning or the leaves changing color in autumn or the first fresh snow of winter.
