We're going to be entering a light meditative state and deepening your sense of peace with the use of some calming affirmations.

To begin,
Take a few deep breaths,
Allowing the breath to come all the way down into your belly.
As you breathe out,
Relax and allow yourself to sink into your body.
With every exhale,
Just breathe out a little bit more tension,
Anxiety,
And stress.
And with every in-breath,
You breathe in more peace and relaxation.
Breathe peacefully and evenly.
Listen to the sound of my voice.
Allow yourself to feel the calming effect that comes up and flows throughout your body as you repeat these peaceful and calming affirmations.
Let's begin.
I let stress drop away and allow calm into my body.
I allow all tension to lift off of me and dissolve peacefully and easily.
I invite a sensation of calm into every area of my body.
I soothe my mind by deepening into my body.
I allow a deep peace to quiet my mind and calm my body.
I am surrounded by a beautiful bubble of calming,
Peaceful light.
I am safe,
Protected,
And calm.

Breathe in and breathe out,
Really letting the calm seep into and flow throughout your body.
