Welcome to this moment my friend,

Allow yourself to really check in,

As you close your eyes gently breathe into your heart,

Your body,

Inhale,

Exhale.

Let the world around you gently fade away,

As you turn inward and really tune into your world within,

Check in with your body,

As we begin this new year,

Notice what your body is holding,

What are you carrying,

Breathe in love on what you find,

Maybe you notice a little anxiety is present,

How does it feel in your body,

Maybe a tightness in your chest,

Maybe there's a little overwhelm,

Where do you feel the overwhelm in your body,

Maybe it's tension in your forehead,

Your temples,

Just simply tuning into the feelings that are visiting,

Whenever there's tension,

It simply needs attention,

What is swirling within you doesn't need intervention,

It just needs attention and acknowledgement,

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

With a gentle curiosity,

Just noticing,

Allowing,

Feel this ease and peace as acceptance just washes over you completely,

My friend,

The anxiety of the new year or the overwhelm of the unknown isn't meant to go away,

These parts of you are like your inner child,

Just reaching out,

Wanting to be seen,

Heard,

Acknowledged,

When you deny yourself of these feelings or you try to push them away or ignore,

It's like you're not holding the hand of your inner child,

May you say to yourself,

To these feelings,

I see you,

I know you're here and I am not going anywhere,

I accept you,

I love you,

Big exhale,

What a gift it is to just see yourself,

Notice how the tension,

The feelings in your body are showing up now,

Maybe there's a little bit more space,

A sense of lightness,

Acceptance,

May you feel how good it feels to choose love,

To choose kindness,

To wrap yourself up in a warm embrace as we start this new year,

You are so worthy,

You are allowed to feel exactly how you feel,

Just keep coming back to gentle awareness,

Curiosity and compassion,

Whenever there's tension,

It simply needs attention,

Allow yourself to slowly reawaken,

Back to the room you're in,

Return to your senses,

Only when you're ready,

Blinking your eyes open if they were closed,

Feel the peace of acceptance and carry this practice with you,

Let it all go,
