Hello,
My name is Donna and today I have the privilege of guiding you back to a state of calm.
This is your time to settle,
Soften and arrive.
Begin by getting yourself into a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
And then when you're ready,
Inviting you to take a slow and settling breath in through the nose and a long,
Easy exhale out through the mouth.
Allowing the shoulders to soften and the muscles of the face to relax.
And feel your body dropping just a little bit further into the support beneath you.
There is nowhere else to be,
Nothing to achieve,
Just this moment of gentle arrival.
Bring your awareness to the natural rhythm of your breath.
Steady,
Effortless.
Begin by noticing where your body meets the surface beneath.
The points of contact,
Your seat,
Your legs,
Your back.
Feel the earth holding you.
Supporting you without effort.
With each exhale,
Imagine your weight releasing down.
As though the ground is absorbing any tension and inviting your body to soften.
Scan slowly from the crown of your head,
Down your face,
Into the neck,
The shoulders,
The chest,
The abdomen,
Legs and all the way to the tips of the toes.
There is nothing to change,
Just notice what is here and allow it to be enough.
Inviting you now to imagine yourself outdoors on a soft spring day.
The air is gentle,
Warm and crisp with new beginnings.
You feel the lightest spring breeze brushing past your skin.
Fresh,
Playful,
Effortless.
This breeze is not rushed,
It isn't forceful.
It simply moves around you with kindness.
An invitation to let go.
With each inhale,
Feel the freshness of spring moving towards you.
A sense of space,
Possibility,
Lightness.
And with every exhale,
Imagine the breeze carrying something away.
An old thought,
A bit of tension,
A feeling that has stayed a little too long.
As you exhale,
Gently and effortlessly release and let go of things that no longer serve you.
And with each inhale,
Feel that there is a little more space for receiving the things that are going to carry you forward.
If it helps,
Picture the breeze lifting away old energy,
Like petals in the wind.
Gently and naturally,
Let the breeze move through the chest.
Sweeping away heaviness.
Let it travel through the shoulders.
Softening anything that has been carried too long.
Let it move down the spine.
Clearing old patterns,
Old stories,
Old strain.
Each breath,
A renewal.
Every exhale,
A soft letting go.
Now bringing your attention to the space behind the forehead.
The quiet field of your mind.
Imagine the breeze drifting through here too.
Light and fresh.
It moves around thoughts,
Loosening anything tight or tangled.
Gently carrying away what is no longer needed.
There is no need to identify what is leaving.
Just trust that the breeze knows.
Trust that your body knows.
And trust that your mind knows what is ready to release.
As the breeze passes,
Notice the growing clarity.
The spaciousness.
The calm.
Your mind becomes like an open sky in early spring.
Wide,
Soft and full of potential.
Now that you've created space,
Begin to imagine the breeze shifting.
Not only clearing,
But bringing in something new.
A sense of lightness.
Fresh inspiration.
Energy rising like tiny green shoots breaking through the soil.
Feel this newness entering with each inhale.
Expansion through the chest.
Brightness in the heart.
Soft aliveness moving through your whole being.
Let this fresh spring energy fill you.
Warming the body.
Awakening the spirit.
Lifting your mood and softening the mind.
Breathe it in and let it settle.
You are becoming spacious,
Renewed and open.
Now take a moment to notice how you feel.
Notice the ease.
The clarity.
The sense of openness inside you.
Trust that what you've released has made space for what is arriving.
And know that you can return to this feeling whenever you need a gentle clearing.
Inviting you now to deepen your breath.
Making tiny movements in the fingers and the toes.
A soft roll of the shoulders.
A gentle stretch of the neck.
And when you feel ready,
Slowly opening your eyes or lifting your gaze.
Carrying the lightness of this spring breeze with you into the rest of your day.
I want to thank you for sharing this meditation with me and until next time,
Be gentle with yourself.
