Hello,
And welcome to this calming adventure.
Let's use our imaginations for a moment to help us breathe and center.
Close your eyes and lay down in a comfortable position.
You can be anywhere as long as you're totally comfortable.
As we use our imagination,
We will continue to lay in our comfy spot,
But in our minds,
We will picture going through this adventure together.
Take a deep breath in to fill up your lungs and belly.
Now let it all out with a big smile.
Do it again please.
Deep breath in and out with a big smile.
Imagine that you're in your home and you have decided to go for a walk.
Now imagine in your mind that you walk to the front door and open it.
But what a surprise.
It's not the front of your home at all.
What you see is not the normal ground.
It's light pink and purple fluffy clouds for a floor.
They're so light and feathery that you wonder if you can walk on them or not.
You look around and realize everything looks like pretty cotton candy clouds all around you.
You take some steps forward and look behind you.
Your house isn't there,
Only the front door.
You know you can't get lost in this place because it's magical and so you decide to go explore.
You're floating more than you are walking and you smell yummy fruit in the air as you practice moving through the clouds.
Do you smell it?
Even the sky is pink and purple.
Looking ahead you can see a big beautiful rainbow in the distance.
You want to go check it out.
It's even sparkly and looks so pretty.
You see something come towards you through the puffy clouds and realize that it's a gorgeous white unicorn with wings.
A winged unicorn,
Wow!
Her horn is spiraled and rainbow colored and looks like candy.
She begins to speak.
I can take you to the rainbow but the only way to get there is through your breathing.
You know you can trust this unicorn because she's magical and kind.
The unicorn tells you that you can get on her back and with every deep breath in her wings go up up up and every breath out her wings go down down down.
The unicorn's name is Candy Calm.
She asks are you ready to get to the calming magical rainbow?
I hope you have a big smile and you nod a big yes.
Here we go.
To make the wings go up remember breathe in slowly.
Wings go down while you breathe out slowly.
Great job.
Breathe in.
You're flying through the clouds.
Breathe out.
The rainbow is closer and the sparkles are so pretty.
Breathe in.
The wings go back up gliding you through the pretty sky.
Breathe out.
You feel more and more calm and relaxed.
Breathe in.
You're so happy and calm that you can almost touch the rainbow.
Breathe out.
It's right in front of you and Candy Calm gently glides towards it.
Breathe in.
Now you're touching the rainbow and you feel your hand can go through it.
Breathe out.
The rainbow makes you so happy and so relaxed that you close your eyes.
Your keep breathing in Candy Calm speaks to you again while you snuggle her white hair.
Whenever you feel worried or angry or scared close your eyes and picture me and remember breathe in up up up and out down down down and my calm magic will help you feel better.
