Hello dear one,
This is davidji.
I had such a beautiful meditation this morning and I figured I wanted to share it with you as well.
So,
If you're ready to meditate,
Whether this is your first or your second or maybe it's bedtime,
Whatever that feels like for you,
Let's connect to the stillness and silence that rests within and let's meditate together.
I'm still vibrating with the energy from this meditation,
So hopefully I can channel that and transfer it and pass it on to you.
So remember,
Comfort is queen.
Let's settle in,
Gently feather your nest,
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and ever so gently let that go.
Let's do that one more time.
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
Allow your eyelids to ever so gently float closed and release that breath and feel how tenderly,
Feel how gently your upper lid is resting on your lower lid right now.
Feel that softness and with our next breath,
Let's breathe into that tender softness because that's how hard we want to try when we meditate.
That soft,
Like your upper lid gently resting on your lower lid.
Breathe in,
Feel that breath go down into your heart and ever so gently let that go.
Simply keep watching your breath right here.
There's nowhere else to be,
There's nothing else to do except to be right here,
Right now in this sacred,
Precious,
Present moment.
So let's allow that.
Maybe in this moment,
You notice the support under your feet or under your tush or against your back.
Maybe you're noticing the breath coming into your nostrils and moving down into your lungs and moving back out.
Maybe you're noticing as you breathe that your chest rises up and as you exhale,
Your chest eases back down or maybe you just notice right here,
Right now,
That as you breathe in,
Your belly fills and as you breathe out,
Your belly empties.
Simply keep watching,
Keep witnessing,
Keep observing.
Notice that your mind is calming,
Notice that your body is relaxing.
Notice that the swirl outside of you and inside of you is slowing down just a bit.
And let's begin this journey by asking ourselves a few sacred questions.
First let's ask,
What am I grateful for?
What am I grateful for?
Who are the people?
Who are the animals?
What are the situations and circumstances for which I'm truly,
Truly grateful?
Just let that gratitude list unfold before you.
It takes about 20 seconds for gratitude to etch itself into your brain.
Just let your gratitude list unfold.
Next,
Let's ask,
What does my heart truly desire?
What does my heart truly long for?
And feel free to rest your hand or your hands on your heart as you ask that question.
What does my heart truly long for?
And you're not asking your head,
You're asking your heart.
Allow it to answer.
What does my heart truly long for?
And now based on the answers to these two sacred questions,
Let's invite an intention into our awareness.
Make this a state of mind or a state of being and it's just for today.
Make it a trait,
A characteristic or a quality that you'd like to amplify or embrace at a higher level or perhaps awaken some aspect of you that you would like to flow just a little bit more and just for today.
And if you're stuck there,
Ask yourself,
Who's the me who's going to show up just for today?
And just allow that intention to crystallize.
And once you're clear,
Now invite that intention into your heart and plant it there like a seed in that fertile soil of your heart.
Plant it deep.
Plant it with love.
Plant it with intention.
And feel it embed.
Feel it become you.
With each beat of your heart,
That seed that's in your heart right now is pulsing through your body.
It's bathing your brain.
It's washing your organs.
It's infusing itself into every single fiber of your being.
So allow that.
Allow that to unfold just like that.
And about now it's embedded in you at the physiological,
The emotional,
The energetic,
The psychic,
The mental,
The spiritual,
All these different aspects of you.
That intention is you.
And let's take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And release our attachment to outcome.
We've planted the seeds.
As long as we nourish them,
They will grow.
We don't have to concern ourselves with them.
Reminds me of the Bhagavad Gita,
Chapter 2,
Verse 47.
We have total control over our own actions and no control over the fruit of those actions.
And we can spend so much time in the fruit.
But instead,
Let's be fully present.
Let's nourish these seeds that we've planted.
How do we do that?
Every time we connect to the stillness and silence that rests within,
The seed gets nourished.
Just like sunlight and water on any seed.
We're going to use the mantra that I used this morning,
Which is Aham Prema.
This ancient Sanskrit vibration.
Aham.
I am.
Prema.
Love.
Aham.
Prema.
I am.
Love.
So let's do that.
Say it out loud with me one time.
Aham Prema.
And now whisper it.
Aham.
Prema.
And now begin repeating it silently to yourself.
Over and over and over.
And you will drift away to thoughts or sounds or physical sensations.
That's okay.
As soon as you realize that you've drifted away,
Ever so gently drift back to Aham Prema.
There's no right speed,
No right volume.
However it flows out of you is perfect.
Perfect.
We'll meditate together.
We'll practice this 108 times.
Don't worry,
I'll watch the time.
And when I ring the chime,
Just sit gently with your eyes closed.
So let's begin.
Aham.
Prema.
Sit gently with your eyes closed.
And allow the stillness and silence to settle in.
And now take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And ever so gently let that go.
Let's do that one more time.
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And let that go.
And now let's seal this meditation.
Let's seal the intentions that we planted.
Let's seal the answers to the questions that we asked.
Let's celebrate the power of this collective by chanting YAM,
The vibration of the Anahata,
The heart chakra,
Just one time together,
Long and loud.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
You can give your heart a tender massage right here.
Reach up to the sky.
Let the universe ever so gently kiss your soul.
And when it feels comfortable,
You can open your eyes.
And welcome back.
How was that?
Imagine I started my day with that and I get to share that with you one more time.
And hopefully you'll be starting your day with this so many more times.
I just find this has just allowed me.
Anytime I start the day with this mantra,
With this technique,
With this process,
I just flow love throughout the rest of the day.
I flow love.
I flow it to myself and I effortlessly flow it back out.
It inspired me to even share with you.
So maybe this will inspire you to share with someone else.
Aham Prema.
Sending you love.
Let's keep meditating together.
And I'll see you in the gap.
