Hello,

This is davidji and welcome to today's meditation.

As we move throughout the world each day,

It's easy to feel overwhelmed.

60,

000 to 80,

000 thoughts each day pouring into our heads.

All of our conversations of the past and potential interactions flowing through us,

Distracting us,

Overwhelming us.

The mind swirls in every moment and there's truly only one way to settle it down.

And that's by accessing the space between our breaths,

The space between our thoughts,

The space between our words.

Each time we do access that space of stillness and silence,

We settle down just a little bit more.

Yoga citta vritti naroda,

Oneness is the progressive quieting of the fluctuations of the mind.

By surrendering to the stillness and silence that rests within,

By surrendering to our most unconditioned self,

We access a place that is pure and whole and perfect.

And when we come back into the world,

We're carrying just a little piece of bliss,

A little piece of peace and that allows each word,

Thought and action that we express to have just a little more patience,

Kindness,

Relaxation.

It also allows us to respond rather than react,

For all of our actions to be purposeful rather than knee-jerk.

So let's get comfortable,

Let's access that space together.

Let's close our eyes and take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in and gently let that go.

And in this moment where there's nothing else to do and nowhere else to be,

Allow your shoulders to soften,

Allow your jaw to unclench,

Allow your body to just melt just for this moment.

Yes,

The thoughts are still there,

But simply by following our breath in right now,

Breathe in and witness the breath as it comes in and as it flows out.

We can drift from the past,

From the future,

Into the present,

Which is pure and whole and peaceful.

Just by taking a breath here and there and witnessing it,

Observing it,

It takes us back to this sacred,

Precious,

Present moment.

Let's go there right now.

Feel yourself soften,

Feel your mind relax.

Allow all the thoughts that swirl into you to just move right through.

Treat them like clouds,

You be unconcerned,

Let them come,

Let them go,

As you follow your breath in and out.

As you exhale,

Feel yourself unload all the weight you've carried into this moment.

Let's do it together,

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath in and release everything.

Feel yourself getting lighter,

Do it again.

And let it go.

Your breath is the key to releasing the heaviness that weighs on you throughout the day,

Clouding your thoughts,

Impacting your words and inspiring your actions.

When we can come from a place of stillness and silence before we act,

We can flow through the world with greater grace and greater ease.

And let's take it a little bit deeper right now by drifting into stillness and silence together.

We'll use the mantra,

Om Shanti Ananda.

Om Shanti Ananda.

Shanti is Sanskrit for peace.

Ananda is Sanskrit for bliss.

And Om is the universal vibration that heralds our oneness,

Our connection.

Om Shanti Ananda.

By silently repeating the mantra,

Om Shanti Ananda,

You will disconnect from thoughts.

You will disconnect from all activity.

And you may notice that you drift back to thoughts or hear sounds or feel sensations in your physical body.

That's all okay.

Those are the things that happen when we meditate.

But as soon as we realize we're not repeating Om Shanti Ananda,

Ever so gently drift back to it.

I'll watch the time.

And when you hear me ring the chime,

Just sit gently with your eyes closed.

So let's begin.

You you you you you you you you you oh shanti ananda sit gently and let the stillness and silence settle in you and now take a long slow deep breath in and let that go let's do that one more time long slow deep breath in and gently release and let's seal this inner peace this pure bliss this oneness by chanting the hymn of the universe Aum just one time together take a long slow deep breath in Aum and when it feels comfortable you can slowly open your eyes you can look around at the tens of thousands who you've shared this collective consciousness with feel that peace feel that bliss you've connected to your most divine self and now as you move through the world throughout the day there will be just a little more stillness a little more silence in your thoughts your words and your actions when you find yourself feeling overwhelmed close your eyes take a deep breath in and say Aum,

Shanti,

Ananda and when you open your eyes you'll be reminded of this peace so you can move through the world with greater grace and greater ease from the sweet spot of the universe this is davidji wishing you an amazing day of Aum,
