Good morning,
And welcome to The Artist's Morning.
My name's Darius,
And I'm so grateful that you and I get this time together.
Our practice today will be on the theme of self-love.
Specifically,
There will be an opportunity to see,
To hear,
And to feel yourself at a
Deeper level.
There are so many ways in this world where we,
For some reason,
Somehow lose ourselves.
It's easy to stop paying attention to what I think is the most important relationship
We have on this planet.
The relationship with ourselves,
Our humans.
And so today,
With your permission,
We're going to get some quality time together.
Let's take a deep breath and begin here together.
Your eyes are open.
I'd like to invite you to close them now,
So we give ourselves a chance to land,
To
Slow things down,
Starting to take deeper,
More intentional breaths,
Calling in any energy
That's thinking about the past,
Gently inviting that energy into this moment right here.
Any part of you thinking about the future,
Bringing it back into your center,
Your core,
Your heart.
Wherever you've been,
You are here now.
Whoever you've been,
You are you now.
You are you now.
Have you met you now?
Maybe you spend a lot of time thinking about and connecting with you in the past.
Would you like to meet you now?
Are you open to truly seeing you now?
We are creating a safe space together,
A space of unconditional love and support together.
Any more intense,
More critical thoughts,
We're going to lovingly ask to step outside
Of this bubble we are creating.
This is a space for your soul,
For your unconditional,
Infinite soul.
A lot of people believe,
Like I believe,
That we are souls having a human experience.
It's a very common saying,
Perhaps so common that we can lose the significance of what
That means.
You are a soul having a human experience.
Can you temporarily step into your soul's perspective and come down and look directly
At your human?
Imagine your soul is standing in front of your human,
Your body,
Your vessel,
And with
Your permission,
We're going to start with a simple,
Very,
Very simple mantra.
If you'd like,
You can repeat it to yourself.
It's only one sentence.
I see you.
I see you.
Imagining your soul with its infinite capacity for love,
Looking at your human head to toe,
But even deeper than that,
Seeing your heart,
How much you care,
Seeing your fear,
Seeing
Your insecurities,
Seeing your joy,
Seeing your pleasure,
Your soul is seeing all the
Way through.
I'm going to repeat the mantra and you can repeat it yourself.
I see you.
I see you.
I see you.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
I see all of you all the way through and I love every single part.
Take a moment just to feel what that's like to be fully seen and all the way loved.
Fully seen and all the way loved.
Maybe you are deeply resistant to that.
Maybe you think there are parts of you that cannot be loved.
You have full permission to own that and a loving,
Gentle reminder that it doesn't
Matter because your soul loves you all the way through,
Even your resistance.
Even if your soul's love can just crack in and impact you 1%,
That's a gigantic win because
That 1% will grow.
Take a deep breath here.
Now I want you to imagine your soul with its infinite capacity for love standing in
Front of you and your soul hears you.
I'm going to repeat another simple mantra.
You're welcome to join me.
I hear you.
I hear you.
I hear you.
I hear you all the way.
I hear you when you speak up loud.
I hear you when your voice shakes.
I hear you when you can't even find the energy to say a word.
I hear you,
Beloved,
And I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you all the way through.
Just take a moment to feel what it's like for someone,
For something to hear you all
The way.
Bravo,
Dear artist.
You got to this point.
There's one song left and for some of you this meditation might be pleasurable and easy
And for some of you this might be a very emotional experience because it's been a while since
Someone saw you,
Someone heard you,
Really heard you.
A reminder that everyone's on their own journey and you can go slow and you can stop and you
Can come back.
There's one last mantra I'd like to share.
Your soul sees you,
Your soul hears you,
And we want our souls to feel us as well,
To feel us.
We're going to activate the feeling through some simple touch if you're open to it.
Some physical affection.
You can place your hands on your heart.
You can move them to your face.
You can grab your arms like you're hugging yourself.
You can place them on your thighs.
You follow what feels soothing and supportive.
Your soul is here with you,
Seeing you,
Hearing you.
And from this place of infinite capacity for love,
Your soul feels you.
I feel you.
I feel you.
Beloved,
I feel you.
I feel you all the way in all the ways.
Always and forever,
I am here with you.
I'm going to stay quiet for the rest of the meditation.
You can place your hands down or use them to soothe and love yourself.
And let's bring our meditation to an end by taking a nice deep breath here together,
Breathing in and letting it go.
Thank you for meditating with me.
Thank you for taking a risk and maybe doing something a little strange,
Something outside of your comfort zone.
Like I mentioned earlier,
For some of you this will be a very pleasurable meditation,
And for some this might be more challenging.
And also for some it might have been met with resistance.
Your guard came up strong.
The beautiful thing is whatever came up,
There's an opportunity to explore.
It's neither good or bad.
It's just what is.
For those joining us at the artist morning,
I'm going to put 20 minutes on the clock
And share a journaling prom.
Help us continue this exploration.
And of course,
If you're catching us on a replay,
Perhaps on insight timer,
You can do the same.
Put 20 minutes on your own clock and see what's here and ready to be expressed through you.
Thank you for meditating with me.
My name is Darius,
And I will see you next time.
