Good morning and welcome to the artist morning.
My name is Darius and wherever you are in the world,
Whenever you are in the world,
Whatever you happen to be going through,
I am grateful that you and I get this time together.
Today's meditation practice will be on the theme of getting our minds,
Hearts,
And body to work together in alignment towards health and well-being.
You can do this meditation at any time and it is particularly powerful for moments in our lives where we are feeling our health is needing some extra love.
Maybe you've got a cold,
Maybe you're feeling under the weather,
Maybe there is more consistent or chronic health thing that you could use a little bit of support with.
Let's begin our meditation.
If your eyes are still open,
I'd like to invite you to gently close them now as we begin to go inwards together.
And if it's available to you,
I'd like us to start taking deeper breaths,
Slowly,
Gently moving our attention from what has already happened in our day,
The past,
Bringing it into this present moment,
Using the breath to bring us into our body,
Into your chest,
Into your heart,
Into your belly.
And maybe there is something you'd like to let go of,
To release with your exhale.
It's real simple.
Take a deep breath in and on the exhale you make a little noise and you just let go and get lighter.
Maybe there's a tension in your body,
A bracing,
A holding.
We use the inhale to bring new energy in and allow that new energy to melt away.
Any tension,
Any holding,
Any bracing,
A gentle reminder that you are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to take time off.
You are allowed to ask for help and support.
You are allowed to be human.
Your health and wellbeing is a priority.
You are a priority.
For many of us that are used to continually,
Consistently going and doing and creating and being caregivers for others and support systems for our communities,
It can be a big deal to experience some sort of health issue,
Whether it's a tiny little cold or something bigger with a bigger impact.
And if we're not careful,
Our minds can begin to spiral and make everything worse.
With this next part of our practice,
I'll be sharing some affirmations.
Affirmations with the intention of aligning our minds,
Hearts and bodies so that they can work together,
So that they can work effectively,
Efficiently,
Lovingly to encourage health and healing in our bodies.
Let's take a deep breath to prepare us for the affirmations.
Breathing in and letting it go.
My mind is my ally and friend.
My heart is my compass.
My body is my soul's mate.
And we will work together in alignment,
In love to bring health and wellness to all of us.

I want you to imagine there is a ball,
A white ball with sparkly electricity inside of it.
It's the size of a basketball and it's just above your head.
This is a tremendously healing,
Loving,
Wholesome energy.
And if you are open to it,
We're going to allow this ball to get bigger and to eventually encompass our entire mind,
Heart and body in its healing space.
Imagine this warm,
Radiant ball getting bigger and working its way down your head,
Your eyes,
Your nose,
Your throat,
Your ears,
Your neck,
Your shoulders.
If you pay attention closely,
You can feel the tingles,
The electricity of this magical ball as it gets bigger and works its way down your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your chest,
Clearing and cleansing any energy that you no longer need,
Bringing health and well-being down your stomach,
Your back,
Your hips,
Your buttocks,
Your pelvic region,
Your legs,
Your knees,
Bringing relief,
Bringing loving,
Warm,
Healing energy to your joints,
To your tendons,
To your bones,
To your organs,
To your blood,
To your skin,
Working its way down your shins,
Your ankles,
Your feet,
Your toe.
You are fully engulfed in this radiant,
Loving energy and it's working in countless ways to love you,
To heal,
To help with recovery,
To align your mind,
Your heart,
Your body,
Your soul.
Can you feel the energy of this ball?
It might be subtle and it might be loud.
There are sources outside and above you that are working in your best interest,
That are supporting your highest self.
Are you open to receiving them?
Are you open to receiving help and support and love in your healing journey?
This is our last song.
