This is your quick fix when your stressed. Through doubling the length of your exhalations and slowing the breath you stimulate a more parasympathetic tone, which slows your heart rate and lowers your blood pressure.

Welcome!

This is your quick fix to increase your parasympathetic tone and feel more relaxed.

The breathing exercise is going to take about 1-2 minutes.

I'm gonna guide you through inhales lasting about 5 seconds and exhale lasting about 14 seconds.

Doubling the length of the exhalation and slowing the breath stimulates a more parasympathetic tone which slows your heart rate and lowers your blood pressure.

Make sure to sit in a comfortable place and if you want to you can close your eyes.

Notice how your breath flows naturally in and out of your body and then take one deep breath.
