Are you ready to meditate with Kari?

Lie down comfortably on your back and close your eyes.

Make sure that everything feels just right in your bed.

It covers your pajamas.

The light is just right in your room.

You're ready to relax.

Take a nice big deep breath and start to use your imagination.

Imagine that you're lying on the forest floor surrounded by big tall trees.

The trees are green and lush and they're swaying in the wind slightly,

Making lots of rustling noises as if they're talking to each other.

As you lie there on the forest floor,

Start to focus on your feet and imagine that your feet are starting to tingle and twitch.

Really focus on the sensations in your feet.

If you want to,

You can whittle your toes and feel your feet lying there in bed.

And then really,

Really try and make them tingle as if you can feel energy or something tickling them moving around in your feet.

Now in your mind,

Stand up tall,

Just like all the other trees around you.

When you look down at your feet,

See that you have super strong roots growing out of your toes,

Just like you're a tree.

The roots are growing down into the ground,

Down into the soil.

They're growing out of the bottom of your feet and out of the bottom of your ankles and your heels.

Big,

Strong roots growing down into the ground.

Now you look at your legs and your legs look just like a tree trunk.

Your arms and your body and your head have turned into the branches and the leaves of the tree.

You're literally becoming a big,

Strong,

Tall tree,

Just like all the other trees around you there in the forest.

It feels nice to be a tree.

You feel very rooted to the ground and sturdy and strong.

Your branches and the leaves wave and sway in the wind.

Those branches that used to be your arms are now big,

Strong,

Long branches swaying gently in the wind.

The wind starts to blow stronger and a big gust of wind blows through the forest,

But you barely move.

You're so strong and solid rooted deep down into the earth and the soil.

You're safe and secure like all the other big,

Strong trees there in the forest.

The strongest,

Biggest gust of wind blows through the forest,

Even stronger than the one before,

And you still barely move.

Your branches just bend and sway.

Your leaves just rustle and sing and talk to the other trees around.

You're so,

So safe and strong.

Imagine that you're this strong.

You're this safe.

You're this protected as you lie in bed there listening to me talk to you right now.

Imagine that your bed is the safest place in the world.

A place where nothing can get you,

Nothing scary,

Nothing dark,

Nothing cold.

Your bed is like the forest and you're laying on your bed like when you stand there in the forest like a big,

Strong tree.

You're the safest that you'll ever be as you lie there in your bed right now.

Let your body just sink into your bed as if you're lying there in the forest once again,

Supported by the earth,

Protected by the big,

Strong trees all around you.

Imagine that the earth is soft and warm underneath your body and you're rooted down into the ground so nothing can blow you away.

Nothing can take you away.

You're safe and strong,

Just like the trees.

This makes you feel like you can completely relax.

You don't have to worry about anything.

You're safe there in your big,

Warm bed.

And because you feel safe,

You can allow your body to soften and get heavy and sleepy.

You can allow your mind to slow down,

Let go of your day,

Let go of all of your thoughts and your thinking.

No worries,

No stress,

Just a big,

Warm,

Comfortable bed where you're safe and protected.

Your legs get nice and sleepy,

Your arms are heavy and relaxed,

Your back and the back of your head sinks deeper and deeper into the ground.

So,

So comfortable.

So safe.

I have lived in the deep forest for over 20 years and this is the first time that I've really felt as if I've become a tree. I take away with me strength flexibility and safety. Thank you so much
