Are you ready to meditate with Kori?

To lay down and be still and quiet and listen to the story?

Try and allow your body to completely relax and let go.

This story might be funny at times,

Maybe a little bit silly or excitable,

But then it's going to get calming and relaxing by the end so that you can listen and hopefully fall asleep.

Heidi,

Cherry and Vea were all laid in bed.

Vea was telling the other cats a story.

A story about a very special place she liked to go in her mind.

She wasn't reading from a book or anything like that,

She was just making her story up with her eyes closed as if she was right there living the story as she told it.

It started like this.

Once upon a time,

Methinks a long time ago,

Methinks actually very very long time ago in a far away place called Princess Valley.

Heidi and Cherry both looked at each other,

No surprise there they thought.

Princess Valley,

Okay.

They didn't say anything but they carried on listening.

In Princess Valley there was a dragon,

A very big dragon.

Cherry said,

Oh wow,

I wasn't expecting that,

Vea.

Vea said,

Shh Cherry be quiet,

Close your eyes.

Methinks you can use your imagination more when you close your eyes.

Close your eyes and listen to the story.

Cherry said,

Alright,

Alright,

You don't have to be so bossy.

She closed her eyes.

Heidi already had her eyes closed,

She knew what to do.

They laid still and quiet and Vea continued.

So yeah,

There was a dragon.

It was so big and scary.

It was a dragon that was destroying Princess Valley.

Yeah,

Mhm,

Yeah.

Every time the dragon got angry,

It burned down a house or burned down a tree or it burned down bushes and flowers and candy shops.

It burned down anything it wanted to burn down when it was angry.

It would take a big deep breath and roar out fire.

Cherry opened one of her eyes.

This is a little bit intense.

Vea said,

Quiet,

Eyes closed.

Cherry closed her eyes again.

Mmm,

Me went to visit Princess Valley and there at Princess Valley,

I met with some very special princess friends.

Three friends.

One princess was called Princess Abigail and she had a purple dress with purple shoes and a purple tiara.

She was so pretty.

The other friend,

My other friend,

Lucy,

Lucy had a blue dress and blue shoes and a blue tiara.

She always looked so good in blue.

Finally,

There was a very special princess,

A princess that was more special than all the other princesses in Princess Valley.

Princess Vea.

Cherry opened her eyes again,

Lifted one eyebrow up and looked at Vea very suspiciously.

Is this story going to be all about you?

Vea said,

Cherry,

This is my story.

Me thinks you should close your eyes and not interrupt me one more time.

Wow,

Said Cherry.

All right,

All right.

She closed her eyes.

Princess Vea.

Mmm,

Me was the princess,

This princess in the entire land.

Me had a white dress with white shoes and a white glistening diamond tiara.

I had a very special job.

I was to catch the dragon.

My other little friend,

Princess,

Princess Flossie was a kitten and Princess Flossie looked just like me.

She was white and fluffy with blue eyes.

Princess Flossie was the cutest little princess cat ever.

Princess Flossie was always,

Always scared.

Unless me,

Princess Vea,

Protected her from the dragon.

Me didn't know how to catch the dragon.

Me wasn't sure what to do at all.

Me decided that maybe the dragon was angry about something.

It was just finding out what the dragon was angry about.

That was our challenge here at Princess Valley.

Next chapter,

Said Vea.

One day,

Princess Vea,

The most princesses princess in all of the land,

Had an idea.

Me thought that maybe the dragon liked apples,

Just like horses like apples or carrots.

Me got a basket full of apples and carrots and waited in the middle of the field,

Right next to where they sold all of the princess outfits there in Princess Valley.

It was a big building with a red roof.

Me thought that that was maybe the most attractable building.

And maybe the dragon would see that I was down there with a basket full of apples and carrots.

Me waited and waited.

Flossie kept looking up at me.

Is the dragon ever gonna come?

Said Flossie,

The kitten,

Princess Kitten.

Princess Vea replied,

Me thinks so.

Me thinks that all animals like apples and carrots,

It didn't take too long before the dragon finally flew over and then flew down.

As the dragon was flying down,

Me got so nervous and Flossie,

The kitten,

Ran up my dress and hid behind me on my back.

I stood there very bravely and offered the dragon an apple.

The dragon roared and its big flames barely missed me.

I offered the dragon a carrot.

Roar!

Once again,

And its big flames barely missed us,

But they were so hot we could feel them,

They were so close.

Me thought,

Oh this is not going to work.

And then I stayed calm and I thought maybe the dragon wants to be a friend.

Would you like to be friends?

I said to the dragon.

The dragon roared,

Even bigger this time and the flames just missed my eyebrows.

Oh gosh!

Cherry opened her eyes.

Oh and gee Vea,

This is so exciting.

Go on,

Go on.

Vea said,

Close your eyes.

Cherry closed her eyes very quickly.

Me was standing there thinking that we were just going to be burnt alive.

Oh and then I had an idea.

Maybe,

Just maybe,

This dragon wants to be a princess.

Do you want to be a princess?

Said Vea.

The dragon nodded.

I've always wanted to be a princess.

My name is Lexi and I want to have a red tiara.

Said the dragon.

Oh!

Said Vea.

Mmm,

Me thinks red would be very suitable with your colouring.

Yes!

Said Lexi.

Me too.

I think I would look awesome with a red tiara,

But no one ever pays attention to me around here and I have to burn trees down and houses down and no one ever listens.

They just think I'm angry all the time.

I'm angry because no one pays attention to me and I have been asking for some kind of attention for a very long time.

Vea said,

Me,

Me is very happy to pay you attention.

Me will go right now and get you a red tiara from the princess store.

Vea and Flossie went over to the princess store,

Picked out the biggest red tiara they could possibly find and took it outside.

It took both of them to carry it.

It was so big.

When they got outside,

Lexi the dragon said,

It's perfect.

That's exactly what I've been looking for.

Vea and Flossie the kitten helped Lexi put on the tiara.

How does it look?

Said Lexi.

Oh,

Me thinks that's just perfect.

Said Vea.

It looks divine.

Said Vea.

Lexi the dragon was very,

Very happy with this.

I'm going to fly with my tiara and then I'm going to come back and I want you to tell me what I look like flying in my tiara.

Okay,

Said Vea.

Lexi rubbed a big giant dragon feet on the ground,

Started to run and then fly up into the air.

She flew around in figure eights and circles.

She did spirals,

All sorts of cool shapes in the sky.

You could tell she was very happy in her tiara.

She finally come back down and landed in front of both Flossie the princess kitten and Vea the bestest most princesses princess in all of the land.

Vea said,

Me thinks that's just perfect Lexi.

You make such a good princess.

Lexi was very,

Very happy.

Finally,

She said,

Thank goodness someone gave me some attention.

Now I can be happy.

I'm a princess in Princess Valley.

Yay.

And with that Lexi drug a giant claws across the ground,

Started to run forward and take off until she finally disappeared out of sight.

Vea looked down at Flossie.

Lexi looked up at Vea.

Flossie said,

Oh,

Thank goodness she's gone.

Vea said,

Me actually likes her.

Me think she's a very nice dragon.

And now we have another happy princess here in Princess Valley,

The Valley of Princesses,

The place and dreams of all princesses.

The end.

Vea paused and stayed silent and looked at Cherry and Heidi who were both snoring away fast asleep.

Vea felt very proud and accomplished that she put her lovely sisters to sleep with her bestest princess story ever up to date.

She closed her eyes,

Potted her face a little bit,

Made sure her whiskers were clean and then got very,

Very relaxed in her big fluffy cat bed.

All of her muscles relaxed,

Her body relaxed.

And then eventually she finally fell fast asleep and dreamed about how much of an awesome princess she is.
